Summary: A masterpiece
Review: Since this film was released ten years ago, it still garners acclaim the world over, and justifiably it should. Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas is a true feast for the senses, from the atmosphere to the state of the art stop motion animation, this film is pure joy from beginning to end. The story revolves around Jack Skellington, the king of Halloweentown who soon tires of his day in, day out Halloween themed shenanigans. When he stumbles upon Christmastown, he plans to bring his own version of Christmas to everyone by impersonating a kidnapped Santa Claus. While the film is aimed at a young audience, teens and adults will eat up everything that is presented here. And even though some of the film may be too macabre for it's own good towards young children, The Nightmare Before Christmas is still a rousing film that actually will satisfy the entire family. This Special Edition DVD presents the film with a fantastic DTS track, and includes a number of extras including two short films from Tim Burton.

Summary: Great Halloween, even without the Great Pumpkin
Review: This Tim Burton classic combines two of the best holidays of the year with some of the most amazing music to complement the greatest stop-motion animation ever.

Danny Elfman combines his experience in Oingo Boingo with his spooky soundtrack music. Really, this movie is one of those rarities where all the right people came together with the right story and the right treatment.

If you haven't seen it, see it. If you have seen it, then you know you need to see it again. And again.

Summary: Animation Revelution
Review: This is quite possibly the greatest animated movie ever to grace this troubled earth. With an amazing plotline, Tim Burton gave me a rare treat for my eyes.(It also let me forgive him for any relation to Batman)Danny Elfman's score was absolutely brilliant.
I love the visuals, I mean, a man with an axe in his head in a children's movie?! I would suggest this movie to anyone. Definitely in my top 5. GO BUY IT, NOW.

Summary: Greatest Movie ever!
Review: I absolutly LOVE this movie!!It was created by Tim Burton (awesome)in 1991. Even though Christmas is in the title, it is more like Halloween. It is about Jack Skellington, the pumpkin king of Halloweentown, who gets tired of doing Halloween. He accidentally discovers Christmastown and falls in love with it. He decides to take over Christmas but actually makes it like Halloween with presents (which I wish would happen) and everything starts going wrong. Luckily, Sally, the rag doll who loves him, saves him from disaster. It is a musical (my surprise) and they're really good songs! Danny Elfman makes the songs (also did songs from Spiderman and Chicago, the movie)and plays the singing voice of Jack. And besides that, this movie is perfect! The only movie that can compare with it, I think, is Edward Scissorhands (also made by Tim Burton). Thats not very good for young ones though, but The Nightmare Before Christmas is great for kids! Unless of course, theyre scared of claymation skeletons.

Summary: Perfection- A movie for everyone!
Review: I'd watched this movie a time or two before. My strange babysitter showed it to me when I was younger and I liked it but I really didn't get it. Then I discovered Edward Scissorhands and became interested in Tim Burton. So, I pulled out The Nightmare before Christmas from the Blockbuster's shelf, came home, and watched it. And I loved it- the strange music, the lyrics, the plot, and especially the characters. All of the characters are very real-strange for a fantasy movie. People of any age can watch this movie. Kind of like listening to Clay Aiken, which I'll get to later...but do yourself a favor and watch this one just once.

Summary: A holiday classic -- but which holiday?
Review: Well, I can't decide, so I usually watch this classic several times between Halloween and Christmas.

Oh so charming and delightful in its production values and its performances, "The Nigtmare Before Christmas" draws from so many classic sources (both film and literary) that it serves as an homage to the entire last quarter of every calendar year! It has a great sense of whimsy but also of creepiness. It is destined to endure for generations.

If only it could have been longer...

Summary: Theres somthing in the Air!
Review: And its success! This movie is a film for all ages! Its amazing animation style and wacky charichters really bring out Tim Burtons true Genious. The man is amazing and the fild really shows it. This film is great for kids and Adults alike. As for the person who wrote in their review "jack is selfish throughout the movie and it gives the wrong message" you need to really get a life. Kids today are way too soft, people like you are really knocking children into a corner. When i was a kid id sit down and watch Garfield tell me that whoever invented somthing that made him mad should be drug out into the street and shot id laugh. I wasnt about to go and get a gun. ITs just an expression. And i was raised to know that and to know better. If your kid is 100% influenced by tv then its your fault! Nightmare before X-mas is the Best movie that was ever created! Bar None!. Buy this film Now!, what are you waiting for, click order!.. Now!.. your still reading this..just order it! cmon, you know you want to! :P
