Review: I like finding underground bands, and oddity dvds so I heard about this band and thought I would check it out. I heard this band puts on illegal shows, and either get kicked out of venues, or gets arrested. Since I like stage shows, like gwar, genitorturers, and slipknot, This sounded awesome to me. A band that actually has blood shed on stage, dead meat thrown around, and as the name implies: usually has a riot start with mass destruction. Anyway, I could not find a review on this band, search the entire net, I could only find several synopses, I even found a guy that said it was good quality (who now I think was one of the band members, because this is far from true.)
I figured I would take the gamble, as I have done too many times before, and purchase a dvd I knew little about, and just like the other times was let down once again. Heed my warning NEVER BUY A DVD UNTIL YOU FIND A REVIEW FROM A CUSTOMER. My days of experimenting with dvds is over with, this one did me in. I definitely feel ripped off. I will do everyone the honor of posting a review that I was searching so desperately for:
The review:
(1) This band has 2 DVD's and one cd called "we kill children" let me help you save some money: for starters, if your going to buy this garbage, do not buy their DVD entitled "let the riot begin" because that dvd, in its full entirety, is on this DVD "riot extravaganza - the complete collection" so no need to buy both DVD's (money cow alert)
(2) Both dvd;'s (no matter which you purchase) are extremely short.
(3) Picture is not too bad through 80% of the video, but there is sections that are home video and very poor
(4) *warning* sound is terrible through 100% of the video. This dvd, by far, has the worst sound of any other I have ever purchase, and I have bought some pretty bad ones before. Its way to hard to hear. So what your left with is a muffled mess, on a short dvd, to basically document this bands fans and followers
(5) gets old, even as short as it is. Yes, they do all the stuff you heard about. Wrestling on tacks, barbed wire bats, stick pins in each other, start riots, start fires, etc, etc. when the shock value wares off, what your left with is a garbage band that cannot play instruments, cannot sing, cannot write music. This is what happens when you give a bunch of backyard wrestlers guitars. I also love rowdy, bloody shows (like gwar) but let me say something, all of this is in fun, but at this show, someone could get hurt or die at. This band is actually the band that gives heavy metal its bad stereo types. You know how when you stand in front of your parents arguing with them how "your band" is not like what they stereotype them to be? Well, don't try to argue with them on this one. Plus after the death of Darrell abbot, I seen a news report saying how this genre of music promotes violent crowds and people. I laughed at the news report, and said to myself "man, they just don't get metal, that's all" well I was wrong...this is the band that news report was referring to. No one wants to go to a concert to get severely hurt. Yea, we all like getting rowdy, we all like getting roughed up in the pit. We all just don't like going to the hospital....
(6) Don't bother with their music cd either: also poor recording, muffled, unprofessional. Singer stinks!

So there you go - short, extremely poor sound, expensive DVD, a gimmick in the making.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: you can't handle bad luck
Review: This band is just to violent for society. I had a chance to see them in 2000 and was horrified and yet had one of the best nights of my life. I left the show when the cops showed up and my face got busted open with a beer bottle. It truely was a riot. They play hardcore music and if you don't like hardcore go listen to some whimpy slipknot.
