Summary: Like a hot tub.... get your beer and watch what happens
Review: Folks,

This DVD is a real fooler!

You start off with a lot of talk. Skip all that and go to the next to the last track: "I want to know what love is"

You will see the most amazing talent recruited from the local area. The chorus for this song sets the tone. What a wonderful introduction (and ending) for a GREAT dvd. This isn't just great, it is a supernova.

The camera work was driven by NFL entertainment. It can be very over the top, however. Too much, WAY too much, camera work.

I sat back with a beer. Then I had two. By my 6th I decided this was a born again experience.

People get ready...... to quote The Chambers Brothers... this is a great deal for 12 to 14 bucks.. I highly recommend this dvd. Don't forget, I bought it thinking it looked like crap, looking at the packaging. Buy it, and thank BMG that we can see a 1993 recording of just ONE of the greatest groups to hit the music scene since, well since, YOU fill in the blank.

Summary: Great Concert DVD of Foreigner
Review: Foreigner live at Deer Creek was recorded in Noblesville,Indiana by Indianapolis on July 19,1993 at the Deer Creek ampitheatre, now the Verizon Wirelss Center. This concert was during the Very Best and Beyond tour,so Rick Willis and Dennis Elliot had already left the band.Original members lead guitarist Mick Jones and Lead Vocalist Lou Gramm lead a great lineup of talented musicians through 12 of Foreigners biggest hits. The band is great, the sound quality is great especially without surround sound, there are sequences of black and white once in awhile, but it doesn't take away for the enjoyment of the show. Songs include Long,Long Way from Home,Blue Morning Blue Day,Dirty White Boy,Urgent,Jukebox Hero and more.A great concert DVD for any Foreigner fan.

Summary: poor editing
Review: I know it was a live concert in 1993, but there is no excuse for poor editing. There are too many slow-mo portions inter-mixed with the live performance and also WAY too much crappy effects added to the picture. The band sounds pretty good, though, but the photographyy and picture editing are nearly without merit at all. Those responsible for this cheesey produced effort need to have their eyes gouged out and their digits removed to save us from any more of their over-the-top production. production like this ruins bands performances and leaves and negative reminder of the whole show.

Summary: over the top
Review: The DVD production is horrid! Too much slo-mo crap and black and white cuts. They don't even get the cameras on the soloists when they are playing. It's very distracting from what would otherwise be a great concert DVD to own. I wish I could just sit down and talk to the yo-yos who cut this stupid thing and give them one simple piece of advice:
"Sometime less is more!!!!!!!!"

Review: This is an excellent video. The production was great.I only wished they would have included a couple of more songs.Soul Doctor was performed live but was edited out for some reason. Also I saw the concert in person and it was totally awesome. If you like classic rock you will love this and if you put this concert up against the current u 2 dvd you really wouldn't be able to tell that they were almost 10 years apart. Again the people that produce film for the NFL did a nice job.

Summary: Dissapointing..
Review: Very nice DVD! The sound is superb, the only negative comment was that there wasn't any behind the scenes footage. I find that the videographer's style, who mainly does NFL footage, wasn't the best person for editing a LIVE concert. "The concert lacks feel". Other than that, the replacment musicians, Lou's voice and Mike's guitar playing are amazing!!!! Diffenately a must DVD for your music collection. Ohhhhhhh....one more thing, the sax player in "URGENT" is amazing!
