Summary: Pulse
Review: I have been a bluegrass music fan all my life---I am a guitar and banjo picker. However, I love classical music also. BUT, when I saw Pink Floyd play Pulse, I realized that I was seeing the very best music of all. It was 100 on a scale of 0-100. It is astonishing. I have bought 2 tapes of this concert. After listening to Pulse 10 times, I am anxious to see it again. A big mystery is why it is not yet on DVD. Someone is losing a lot of money by not advertizing this concert and selling it on DVD.

Summary: A MUST SEE, A MUST HAVE
Review: I have seen this video show several and several times and the more I watch it, the more I believe this is one of the best video shows ever. Pink Floyd outstanding performance and music selections will certainly make history. One point however stands beyond my comprehension: why there is no DVD version available so far for such a great show like this??? Hard to believe it and hard to accept it!

Summary: Much better than the CD version.
Review: PULSE the video is a full concert, recorded in one night, instead of being taken from various concerts, which is how PULSE the CD was put together. It's superior to the CD when the video and the CD have different versions of the same songs. Rather than write a long review, I'd just like to ask one question; when is this incredible concert going to be released on DVD? I saw it on Laserdisc years ago, then I bought the VHS version. Now it's time to release it on the best home video format available. I can't imagine why it hasn't yet been released on DVD.

Summary: Pulse - Beats At The Speed Of LIFE
Review: Like most Floyd fans, I enjoyed Delicate Sound of Thunder as a satisfying live Floyd concert video...but then came "PULSE".... and made DSoT pale in comparison. From the opening "Shine On..." to the explosive closing of "Run Like Hell" your visual and auditory senses are assaulted with essentially the best of "Division Bell", a small taste of "The Wall" and "Wish You Were Here"..but the cream of the concert is the complete performance of "The Dark Side of the Moon"!!!

The light and laser show that accompany the songs, as well as the inclusion of filmed shorts make the whole experience mesmerising. There are so many great moments in the video, such as Gilmore's solo in "Comfortably Numb" blares on as the lights cascade off the separating glitter ball, the computer graphic short used in "Time", the opening of "The Wall-Part 2" as well as the best rendition of "Wish You Were Here" I've heard; which begins a 3 song encore. For VHS, the quality is outstanding for both the visual as with the sound presentation.

Though I have owned the VHS taps since it was released; I will replace it with the DVD version when it eventually comes out. Highly recommended for all fans of Pink Floyd, as well as fans of great live concerts.

Summary: DVD is currently in production
Review: Per the previous post, I checked out The Digital Bits website and they are now reporting that the Pulse DVD is in production. They also mention that Roger Waters is preparing his In The Flesh DVD for release. I remember reading somewhere else that it is coming out in May or June.

Summary: Great video, yadda yadda yadda, what happened to the DVD?
Review: The VHS video is great; the performances, the sound, the picture, everything. Like many others, I just wished the DVD was here. The Jan.29th and Feb. 5th came by and nothing has apparently happened.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: DVD delayed. No word on any release date.
Review: First I heard early January. Then late January. Then February 6 per The Digital Bits website. Now it looks like it has been delayed again with no word on a release date. What is wrong with Sony?
