Review: SPEECHLESS IS HOW I FELT AFTER WATCHING THE MOST SPECTACULAR CONCERT THAT MY EYES HAVE EVER SEEN! EVEN THOUGH IT WAS ON VIDEO
IT WAS LIKE I WAS REALLY THERE. I REALLY DONT KNOW HOW TO EXPLAIN THE FEELING I GOT WHEN WATCHING IT BUT IT TOOK ME INTO ANOTHER WORLD! DAVID'S LYRICAL GUITAR PLAYING WAS LIKE WATCHING SOMEONE THAT WASN'T HUMAN PERFORM!!! ALSO THE AMAZING LASER AND PICTURE SHOW WAS UNREAL!!! I THINK I COULD WATCH IT OVER AND OVER A ZILLION TIMES!!!
AS MUCH I LOVE PINK FLOYD I CANT BELIEVE IT HAS TAKEN ME THIS LONG TO WATCH THS VIDEO! I RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE WHO LOVES FLOYD AS I DO! I FELL IN LOVE WITHOUT A DOUBT!!

Review: I wish they would release this great concert on DVD. What are they waiting for??? I'll be one of the first to buy it if they ever do. It is not available in DVD format as of Oct 20 2001... Bummer! Pink Floyd's "The Wall" is, but I really don't like it nearly as much.

Summary: Pulse - Simply the Best
Review: I own perhaps 30 rock videos and without a doubt Pulse is the finest I've ever seen (with the possible exception of the Stones' Gimme Shelter, but that has more to do with the gravity of the event, rather than the music or the filming). As the other reviewers write, it simply goes beyond anything in terms of color and sound, it is the peak of synesthesia (look it up). Of course I love the Floyd, but even compared to their earlier Delicate Sound of Thunder video, Pulse is in another league, much crisper and much more colorful. The Floyd themselves felt that "Thunder" was too moody, shot as it appears to be through pink and blue filters, and failed to capture the true vibrancy of their stage show. The wild washes of white light that appear at various cues during Pulse have to be seen to be believed. Put this video on your home theater, turn it up, and you'll think your at the show. I've had friends tell me that after we watched the video they woke up the next morning with the feeling they had been to a concert.

Review: This is an amazing video. One of the best in recent times. The special effects were stunning and it must have been great to have been right there. The performance was incredible, to say the least. All in all, it is an unforgettable concert you will be dreaming about for years. Only one disappointment. It's VHS. Admit it. We have all been waiting for PULSE on DVD. The VHS rocks. But I would have liked to own this on something that will not grow mouldy in a couple of years. But there is such a thing as Pink Floyd P.U.L.S.E in digital MPEG-1 VCD format at VCDGallery. You can view it on most DVD players or on any computer or on PlayStations. Since I cannot insert an URL here, do a search yourselves for VCD at Google or Alta Vista.

Review: This is the top of top in all live concerts. After the Delicate sound of thunder, i thought no other concert could top it. Then i saw PULSE. WOW!!!! From the opening number to the final encore, i was stunned, mesmerised and awed at the spectacle that is Pink Floyd. I loved the great special effects and the crowd certainly looked as though they were enjoying themselves. David gilmour and the other preformers looked as though they were enjoying themselves andthat adds for an excellent viewing session. The highlight of the video, i feel, is the brilliant conclusion to the song Comfortably Numb where the big....... Now you are going to have to see the video to see what i am talking about. Please do watch it and enjoy it as it is great entertainment and u will watch it over and over again. :) Shine On Everyone Scotty

Summary: They Phoned This One IN..
Review: This video may have been longer than Delicate Sound Of Thunder but the musicians flat out stunk, including the only 2 girls back up singers, on Pulse the sax player, where did they get that mediocar musician, on DSOT the sax player was 5 times better and made a difference with his passionate playing, David Gilmour didn't even seem to be enjoying himself, as if he knew the band had no support from the others outside of the band it self.. DSOT is a lot more enjoyable to watch and the band actually seems to be having fun, several smiles from Gilmour, the band and the girls and the band and Gilmour nailed the songs with perfection!!.. This video PUlSE is far too overated..
