Summary: Why Oh Why was I born in 1981???
Review: September 2nd, 1994. I am 13 years old and I only knew Pink Floyd from the fights my 6 year older sister had with my parents about going to the gig in Werchter. They said: You are way too young to go to gigs like these. My sister like yelled: This is not just a gig but CULTURE! Damn she's a smart girl. Finally she got permission (in return for doing the dishes for about two months) to go and I could play again in peace.

About two years later I saw this Pink Floyd album (The Division Bell) on the table. Well, why not give it a try. I won't die...

From then till know I regretted the fact that i was not born six years earlyer, and that I couldn't be there in Werchter. When I hear people saying "I would give anything if I only could attend one more Pink Floyd gig..." - I understand that completely.

This might be the most underestimated band of all times. You have like millions of huge fans, like zero regular fans and all the other people who predjudge this band... Maybe that is a good thing, because I guess Dave Gilmour would never want to take Paul McCartney's place.

The man is a genious... A masterpiece of perfection... (Dave offcourse).

So all I'm asking is another world tour (a meet-n-greet and backstage pass is possible) as good as PULSE and a DVD of PULSE...

Summary: Unbelievable, I never thought it could be this good
Review: This is by far the greatest live performance of all time. The only thing I regret is not having been there in person. Some are upset by the lack of Roger Waters, but ive seen his live stuff that he does on his own, and its not nearly as good. The way I see it, Waters is the artistic visionary, but Gilmour and company have the ability to bring it to life musically and instrumentally. Guy Pratt (new guy on bass) is better at bass than waters anyway. BUY THIS VIDEO!!!!

Summary: The greatest DVD you will ever own!!!
Review: This DVD has been in production way too long. Something tells me Dave and the boys are reading these reviews and having a good time keeping us anxious for this release. This show is filled with spectacular light shows and mesmerizing musical performances. I think the best part is when Dave plays his solo during "Comfortably Numb" and the ring comes down and focuses all of it's lights on Dave. It's like the entire concert has been about and lead up to this glorious solo that grabs you and has it's way with you and there is nothing you can do about it. Finally, the Floyd end their show with "Run Like Hell," reminding us all that it's ok to chill out to their beautiful, colorful music but at the end of the day this is a rock n' roll band and they plan to blow the roof off of Earl's Court. Summary: The best live show EVER!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: This concert was the best live show I have ever seen. I never liked a Pink Floyd song until I saw this show. Now I own almost everyone of there CDS. This concert has the best light show and the best live performance. We need this to be released on DVD so I can enjoy it for ever, with digital quality.

Summary: WHEN???
Review: This needs to come out on DVD ASAP. I know so many people that would love to make this purchase. Pink Floyd Pulse is one of the greatest concerts ever, with the best visuals and vocal performances. "Comfortably Numb" gives you a great experience with the perfect visuals, and the amazing guitar solo by David. The studios are missing out on a lot of money by not producing this in 5.1 DVD dts, digital. I would pay $...for it. There is so much other [bad] dvd music videos out there, why not put something good now. Hurry this stuff up!

Summary: Great Music and Great Musicians
Review: I will most likely never see Pink Floyd in concert in my lifetime. So I'm glad I own this! We get to hear much of the The Division Bell tunes accompanied with some cryptic interpretable images on the big round video screen. We get to hear the entire Dark Side of the Moon which is a pleasure to hear in comparison to the studio version that he have all most likely played countless times. We get to hear wonderful encores Wish You Were Here, Comfortably Numb, and Run Like Hell. I don't believe there is a single moment on this video that falls flat. We get to see David Gilmour's guitar skills up close without losing the impact of the intense light show that is being projected at us. I wish I were there in person, but this and the upcoming DVD (?) will be as close as I'll get.

Summary: I don't ever think there will be a concert like this again.
Review: I'm being serious about this. I don't think you'll ever see a concert like this one. Music-wise, it might be the most coherent and accesible Floyd ever. Show-wise, you will wonder whether you are looking at a hundred-million dollar action movie or a CGI-enhanced video. Neither of those. It's a concert film with what I can only describe as the best pyrotechnic effects, the best laser effects, the best lightning system, the best sound system, and one of the world's best bands on stage. You won't believe your eyes.

Summary: Outstanding
Review: ... This tape has no lead-in with filler-garbage nor ending filler-garbage. It is obvious that they crammed the ENTIRE LENGTH of the VHS format with concert recording. I doubt they had another minute of available tape to spare.

Gilmore is amazing--the entire performance is amazing. If you like Pink Floyd you will not be disappointed, but thrilled.

Summary: DVD?
Review: This is from the digital bits site:
"We've got some GOOD news for you Pink Floyd fans. Roger Waters' manager, Mark Fenwick, had confirmed that Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii - The Director's Cut is being prepped for DVD release in March 2003. Not only that, Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon is going to be released on DVD-Audio on 3/3/03 in honor of its 30th anniversary! We're still waiting for an update on Pulse, so we'll let you know if we hear anything."
It is not too bad, but I was hoping for some update on the Pulse DVD.

Summary: mad awesome cd, gonna be mad awesome dvd
Review: even though its not out yet its gonna be awesome. the cd was a great success, and the music reflects a lot of the pink floyd spirit. i have the vhs, and it was great, but a little disappointing. there were a couple of cutoffs, and i hope they solve this in the dvd version. the lights work perfectly with the music too, and this combined with great music make it a great buy.
