Summary: Amazing
Review: This video is absolutely amazing. I didn't think that at first when I bought it, though. The salesman said it was a pale imitation of their previous concerts. He is solid proof that most PF fans use drugs... (j/k :) As soon as I saw "Shine On, You Crazy Diamond" for the first time, I knew this would be the best concert I'd ever likely see. The rest of the concert confirmed that. "Shine On..." is incredible, as is "Learning to Fly". "High Hopes" is stunning. The rest just gets better, including "Dark Side of the Moon" live-- all of it. Not to mention the encores, which has more lighting effects than the Eiffel Tower did on New Year's*.So hurry out to your local video store and purchase this video. Overnight shipping is too long to wait for Pulse! G'night to you!

*well, almost :)

Summary: The Number One Fan Review
Review: The Wall on vinal was my first experience listening to the soothing sounds of Floyd. Knowing (and also experiencing) the suggestive drug induced motif of the band, this was a small price to pay for the sounds of shangrila which is Pink floyd. Many years have gone by and many sessions of listening have as well. That is what Floyd is to me, a listening session, a true experience, an emotional rollercoaster. Too many times have I been on the brink of seeing the face of god while on drugs too powerful for a skinny shmuck like me. Too many times was I not my self. PULSE, first shown to me in a college dorm room while stoned on marijuana, was amazing. No dull moments, the circular screen/eyeball of truth, was just what the doctor ordered. There was a sense of emptiness when I realized "One of these days" was not part of the Pulse ticket, but all in all, a masterpiece. Floyd is the b[est]. North Cambridge, Mass

Summary: Gilmour (Still) Reigns Supreme
Review: This is some of the best footage you'll find of a live concert. The camera angles and video editing are great and the lighting is superb. No dark shadows or slow-motion strobes as you'll find in so many other concert videos which consider only the live audience's perspective. The close-ups of Gilmour on his Strat playing "Time" and "Coming Back to Life" are alone worth the price of the video. As an amateur guitarist and long-time Floyd fan, I've always argued that when considering both creativity and dexterity on the six string, Gilmour leaves all others in the dust. If you're a fan of The Pink Floyd or just appreciate great guitar, this is a must-have.

Summary: The Pink Floyd Experience
Review: I was fortunate enough to have seen The Division Bell Concert in Philadelphia and was completely enthalled by the experience. Sitting some 100 yds away from the stage it's tough to completely appreciate the musicians on stage..and that's where PULSE come in.

David Gilmour, Nick Mason, Rick Wright & Co. are in top form playing back home in London. The Pink Floyd concert experience is brilliantly captured here. The performers, the light show, video screen and especially the music all come through with excellent clarity.

The complete version of Dark Side Of The Moon is re-created and still sounds wonderful. If you've got a great sound system even more so better....Pink Floyd is still very much alive.

Summary: PULSE
Review: I bought this video as part of my Floyd collection thinking it would be a pale copy of their live shows. Boy was I wrong ! This is a cracker ! Now a few years old I still think that the performance shown should set the benchmark for all upscale live shows. I've just bought my second copy having worn out the first. BRING ON THE DVD !
