Summary: 3 generations of Pink Floyd
Review: I have had the pleasure of seeing Pink Floyd twice and would pay any price, if another tour opened up. I was raised by a 1st generation PF fan (father) who saw the Animals tour in 76. Unfortunately some idiot threw a package of firecrackers on the stage and the show ended early. My father and I saw them in 87 (Momentary Lapse of Reason). I saw them in 94 after Division Bell was released. I actually purchased the video elsewhere, but would have purchased it at Amazon, had I found it there first. It felt like Christmas when I go home to play it. I saw it with my son, who is now 13. Then with my wife. Then my Dad. I almost felt like I was in a time capsule. You never forget a great concert and PF by far has the patent on synchronizing the audio visual. I just hope that they have 1 more tour in them. I would love to return with my son.

All in all, an exceptional piece. The only problem I have is understanding why it is not offered on DVD.

Summary: BEST VIDEO EVER!
Review: Pulse is definitely the best concert video there is. Period. It blew me away the first time I saw it. It's so amazing that I've watched it dozens of times since, and I'll probably watch it dozens of times again. Often I just leave it on in the background while I'm doing other things, but I always end up on the couch in front of the screen in no time. The lights are mind-blowing, David Gilmour is the most underrated man in the history of rock. He deserves nothing less than legendary status. Even if you're not a fan of Pink Floyd, buy this. You'll change your mind about them pretty quickly, I think.

Summary: Yes, this was a live concert tour.
Review: I was there in Oakland, CA - I believe it was in 1994. The video does a beautiful job of capturing the magic of the evening. This was by far the best musical experience of my life. I took my daughter, who was 13 at the time, to see her first big-time live concert. The look on her face was worth the price of admission when they started singing "We don't need no education...".

I have the VHS version of the video, and will be first in line to buy the DVD. The best performance of the greatest group of all time.

Summary: Amazing . . . The Best Concert I've seen when I wasn't there
Review: Surely someone is out of there mind to not have this released on DVD. The sound and light of the show begs for the best technological presentation. Format issues aside, the sheer artistry of Floyd is brought to life by this video. The light show will leave you breathless. Each time you think that the seemingly endless array of light kits have exhausted their arsenal of effects yet another wholely unique configuration pops out. Oh to have been at this show. The video does an excellent job of presenting it as a "live" show without the all-too-often special effects that can ruin the live feel that so many videos resort to. You really have to see this to believe it. If anyone knows, was this a touring show or not? It seems far to choreographed, coordinated, and hell, just to expensive to have been done more than a couple of times. If you watch the video, you'll see what I mean. You'll think you were there.

Summary: The next best thing to being there!
Review: One of the best long-form videos of a live show you will ever see. Remarkably close to seeing the show in person (which I did). The absence of a DVD release is criminal. The only drawback of this video is the minimal footage of the spectacular lighting choreography on the circular screen upstage behind and above the band. It was masterful and beautiful, but the video only hints at it. I ask again, though: WHERE IS THE DVD? If ever a concert title screamed for DVD release, with the better picture and sound that would be available, it is this title. Somebody needs to get on the ball about this. Call me when it's ready for release -- I'll be right here.

Summary: MADE FOR DVD!
Review: Of all the videos I have seen to date, this one tops the list for reproduction on DVD 5.1 format. The sound is sensational, the light show is incredible and the visual imagery is pure Pink Floyd! Wake up, Sony Music Entertainment, Inc.! I do believe you guys have heard of DVD by now. Rumor has it you actually make DVD players. I will continue to borrow my friend's VHS copy until the DVD comes out. For those of you who are still in the Stone Age of VCR and don't plan on getting a DVD player anytime soon, by all means buy this work of art! The rest of us will wait and pray that Sony will come to their senses soon!

Summary: Unbelievable
Review: This video is nothing less than incredible! I bought it thinking, "all right.. another Pink Floyd video, this should be pretty cool", and I lay down on the couch to watch it, and then I rolled right off it! Almost right away, there were shivers going up my spine when they opened with Shine on You Crazy Diamond. The music is superb, the light show is fantastic, and the quality of the video is awesome too. It's also addictive, and I found myself watching it again and again. This is well worth whatever price you might pay for this masterpiece. Everything about this is good. BUY THIS NOW!
