Summary: Great Miniseries
Review: Well I have to say North and South has to be one of the greatest miniseries. It tought me a lot about the civil war, which I never learned in school. In fact it made me become very interested in our country's history. Of course the miniseries is also great because it involves a great love story and many strong friendships. I have books I, II and III on VHS but after watching them a hundred times I wonder how long they will last. It would be great to see them released on DVD, especially with some extra features.

Summary: This is my favorite movie....ever!
Review: When this mini series was on television, I could hardly wait to see each episode. We even took our first vacation to Charleston, SC and Boone Hall Plantation to see where much of the movie was filmed. My whole family is waiting patiently for it to be released on DVD. This is the best Civil War Movie ever made. The cast and characters are amazing. The relationships between these two families are inspiring. Costumes and locations are fantastic. I can not give a higher recommendation. If you have not seen it, please do. It is well worth the time.
