Summary: this one is much better than other early films!
Review: This one is thousand times much much better than the early films. Because the film documented the last concerts of the band at the rope of the finance Taxhouse in London UK.
The songs such as Do not let me down, Get back, the long and winding road, let it be, I me mine, across the universe are ok & very well represented in the last Beatle film.
Beatles with LET IT BE 1970, Led Zeppelin with CODA 1981, before they broke up!

Summary: An essential part of Beatles history
Review: This recording is too important not to release on DVD. The greatest band in history making music, laughing, arguing - they are a family, and it shows. A must-have for any serious fan, an intimate look at a pivotal point in their lives and careers, plus the one-of-a-kind rooftop live show.

As McCartney said in Anthology, shut up, its great, its the Beatles.

Summary: The Beatles Era - Where we all want to be
Review: Thousands of people around the world may feel cheated by fate by not having been around during the Beatles era. By coming out
with this DVD, most of them can actually transport themselves in time when almost everything revolved around one thing - The Beatles. Even the most wretched moments in their lives as a band
brings monumental release of exhiliration and excitement by merely witnessing the events which lead to the sinking of the Titanic. It's also heart breaking to watch the film evolve because it leads you to a singularity, a painful end.
Even the Beatles, at that time did not see this film other than as an exercise in torture but today thousands consider it as history unfolded, a legacy to future generations.

Summary: What Are They Waiting For?
Review: Tough to find on VHS, if not impossible. Saw it the first time in an auditorium with lousy sound and loved it anyway. Played the vinyl till it was white. Replaced it a couple of times, of course. It's time for a release on DVD so I can finally show everyone what I've been talking about for years!!!

Summary: Waiting for Michael Jackson to Sell the Beatles' Catalogue
Review: What's the holdup of this Let it Be DVD?

I thought for McCartney to cough up the dough for the huge diamond for his new missus it would necessitate the need to release this dvd, but no, the clever lad has riches to burn and needed no such stunt to finance this monumental rock, which shall be Beatle's lore and treasure to be seen in The Beatles Museum in London long after they and we all are mouldering in our graves.

So what's the delay now? Is McCartney waiting for Michael Jackson to lose big on his current court case, "Child Molestation Pt. II" thinking Jackson will have to sell his interest in the Beatles catalogue, maybe to McCartney so Mac can make more money on this DVD because he'd have the publishing rights to the songs in it? But this didn't stop release of the new cds over the past decade.

We've heard rumor after rumor about the DVD release, but they've all been tantalizing lies...
