Summary: AMAZING DVD FROM AN AMAZING SONG!!
Review: I bought this DVD Single and it rocks!! It's very good!! It contains the video itself, a live performace from By The Way and a more than 10 minutes making of! In my opinion, you should buy it and, 'by the way', tell your friends how cool it is, so that they can buy it 2!!! Hugs.

Summary: Well it's something new!
Review: I'm kinda confused as to why the Peppers waited so long to put out a DVD single. They've created so many wonderful and groundbreaking videos and it would've been nice to have those on dvd along with behind the scenes footage of the making of them(especially the videos for the Cali. songs). Actually By The Way isn't the first dvd single (Californication was but was released as a promo only and given away by radio stations so there aren't many out there and it's hard to get but it was only the video and not the making of). Being a fan of the Peppers for over 11 years now i've collceted anything and everything of my fave. band and this will surely need to be bought as well. Sadly the dvd is only 17 minutes long (the video is 3:39, the live performance is around 4 minutes so that leaves a little over 10 minutes for the making of segment). Hopefully by released Funky Monks on dvd last year as well as the live Off the Map, the unoffical bio dvd, and now a dvd single they will finally get around to releasing Positive Mental Octopus, Psychadelic Sexfunk, and What Hits!? on dvd so they can give my worn out videos a much needed vacation from my vcr! Hopefully they will contain more bonus stuff, which the Funky Monks DVD lacked (actually the sound and picture quality were the only changes). Maybe the band will also get around to releasing another hits/video/dvd comp. with the singles from the Warner Brothers albums in the near future as well because my old tapes from mtv are getting worn out as well. Oh well...guess what they have out there will have to do for now!
