Summary: Roy Ayers Live!
Review: A wonderful part of a great show in London. Also, a chance to see the late Zachary Breaux play guitar. Excellent versions of each song with plenty of jamming. DVD sound is excellent as well. My only complaint would be that the disc is just to short! If you love jazz and vibes, you will love this DVD!

Review: I JUST BOUGHT THE ROY AYERS DVD AND I WOULD LIKE TO SAY FRIST THAT I HAVE EVERYTHING THAT ROY AYERS PUT OUT. AND I AM A TRU FAN.WHEN I FRIST HEARD OF THIS DVD.I JUST HAD TO HAVE IT IN MY COLLECTION.JUST SEEING HIM PERFORM .HE'S THE BEST AT HIS GIFT.I WISH IT WAS MORE THAN 5 SONGS.BUT THEY WERE ALL LIVE.AND I REALLY ENJOYED IT.AND THE PEOPLE IN THE SEATS. WHO WERE THEY?? Review: I've always felt that Roy Ayers is a true entertainer in more ways than one. He said that Lionel Hampton showed him the vibes at the age of 5.Roy's band is good although somehow I feel he needs to improve his repertoire which is now a little dated. I love the sunshine was great back in the 80's as were many of his superb disco sounds. The audience on this DVD were awful and need to learn what 'audience participation' means! I'll give it 3 stars as I was unimpressed with just 52 minutes. Your good Roy, but you need more material and maybe a change in style..........

Review: Roy Ayers is a true entertainer. The music and vocals were clear and the band solo's were sterling. I'd recommend this dvd to anyone who appreciates jazz rhythyms. The only knock against this video was not on the entertainers but the crowd who seemed like a bunch of stuffed shirts.

Review: This DVD shows Roy Ayers at his best. With a stellar group of musicians, Roy Ayers give a very entertaining performance. Get this DVD as you may never see Roy Ayers in this form again. Although the sound is only PCM stereo, it is clean with very good bass. In fact, it sounds like a well recorded CD. This is a great DVD for those baby boomers with an afinity for smooth jazz.
