Summary: Switchfoot Rocks!
Review: This band continues to impress me. Every project is more exciting than the last, and it was great to begin with. Jon Foreman is a great frontman. I don't know what I admire most about him. He is a talented songwriter, singer, guitar player, performer... The live DVD is energetic and leaves you wanting more.

Summary: Switchfoot's Live in San Diego DVD is "More than Fine"
Review: Switchfoot Live in San Diego. That explains it. This dvd brings you to the concert live as if you are there Rock'n along with the guys from switchfoot. Switchfoot is currently climbing the charts and is one of the hottest "up and coming" bands out there. After years of passion driven meaningful music, switchfoot finally is getting the attention they deserve, with their fourth album release in the Beautiful Letdown. The DVD Live in San Diego is filled with over an hour of live concert footage as well as extras such as interviews and behind the scenes footage. To truely see the heart of switchfoot's music, Live in San Diego is a great way to see there energy on stage and their interaction with their fans. 5 Stars, and lookout for switchfoot to continue to shatter the charts and change this world every step of the way.

Summary: Switchfoot Rocks In This DVD!!
Review: Well, what can I say? Any average band can create a good CD. You've got tons of studio time and ways to change the pitch of everything from your voice to the guitar your playing. But, Switchfoot proved that they'er much more than an average band in this new, excellent live DVD. The DVD captures the live sound of Switchfoot very well. It starts out rocking from the beginning and dosen't stop untill the last beat. The audio quality is great. The show is in an awesome venue, and the lighting is very cool. Also, it's not just them playing their recorded music note for note live. They spice it up, change some things, add some things; exactly what a good live show should be. Overall, this is just an excellent DVD. If you are new to Switchfoot, or have been listening to them for a ling time, this is a much needed addition to your collection. And if you've never listened to Switchfoot, you'll be getting introduced to a great rock and roll band with more heart for what they do than you've ever seen. I feel like I've taken home a peice of the awesome show I saw live on their last tour. So, give it a spin, I'm sure you'll love it.

Summary: Didn't include all songs from the actual Concert
Review: Yes, I may sound crazy, but I went to this concert and it was wicked awesome but not all the songs they played at the actual concert weren't on this DVD. They took out: The Loser, You Already Take Me There, New Way To Be Human, Only Hope and Chem 6A. It's too bad because The Loser is my favorite song to be heard live from Switchfoot (I love the way that they all jumped at the same time on the fast parts) I really think this DVD is great but it didn't get all the songs.

Summary: Amazing
Review: Switchfoot is such an amazing band. The members Jon, Tim, Chad and Jerome have a wonderful chemistry and air while on stage. Seeing them live is an experiance everyone should have the oppurtunity to have. The DVD is just a great way to have the oppurtunity in the comfort of your own home. Being able to see the band from all angles is something that not everyone can experiance by going to a live concert. Being able to watch Jon sing up close during a ballad, or watch Tim's incredible jumping capabilties is so fun. The CD is amazing, Switchfootage is awesome and now Live in San Diego is beautiful. Switchfoot will never let you down in concert! Buy it, it's AMAZING.

Summary: Switchfoot at its' Best
Review: The Beautiful Letdown is an amazing album but the songs are even better when all you have is the band and not much else. The songs are better stripped down and the guys have taken some of the songs and created better arrangements (see Dare You To Move and On Fire). If you are looking for a historical representation this DVD is not what you are looking for. They play 10 songs from The Beautiful Letdown plus the song Learning to Breathe. There's also some cool bonus material including some great interviews with the band. If you like live Rock and Roll then this is a must have.

Summary: Best DVD I Own!!!
Review: Switchfoot is the best band, in my opinion, in the entire world. Tom Keogh, the guy who wrote that editorial review, said that Switchfoot's music all sounds the same, that is sooo wrong! But, I admit this DVD doesn't do them any justice, nothing compares to actually being there LIVE. The sound editing is very poor on this DVD, thats why Switchfoot may sound a little dull, but if you ever get the chance to go to one of their live shows in person, don't hesitate, you won't regret it! I highly recommend Switchfoot's four CD's "The Beautiful Letdown", "Learning to Breathe", "New Way to be Human", and "Legend of Chin". Switchfoot has a very unique sound and all of their songs are amazing, they don't have one bad song. My favorite song on this DVD is "On Fire", its a very beautiful version, a faster tempo than the version on the album. The extras are great too, very entertaining and you get a little "up close and personal" with Switchfoot. Overall, it's a sweet DVD and if you love Switchfoot or are just discovering them I would go out and buy it!!
