Summary: Simply Amazing
Review: This dvd is awesome. The concert or concerts is very good. U can tell that the dvd isnt one show, cuz anthony's wristbands change color during the show. Who ever said John wasn't good at guitar, doesnt know what they are talking about, John is amazing at guitar. This dvd contains all of their hits, and every song is good. The last song is fun to watch, u know what im talking about if u have seen it already. The only problem with the dvd is that they should have added all of their music videos, that would have made an already great dvd even better.

Summary: WOW, Very Entertaining.
Review: This is a very good and high quality dvd. RHCP sounds exellent in this, the interview is very good and funny. And the bonus tracks are an added goodie. The only complaint I have is that the footage is OBVIOUSLY not from one concert. You will notice it very easily, and that is why it only has three stars, i want to watch it with out being distracted. IF you dont know what I'm talking about, all you have to do is pay attention to the singer's mohawk, different hairs during a song, unless he's houdini, its several performances put into one song. EVERYTHING ELSE IS AWESOME

Summary: Off the map RHCP
Review: This is a very good DVD from a concert. I'm a great RHCP fanatic and I love it! There is 20+5 great songs! but it's from different concerts, you see that on Anthonys arms... but it's cool anyway. Buy it now!

Summary: Perfect
Review: This is definetely the best Chili Pepper DVD i have ever seen. It contains a bunch of extras, like backstage footage and interview sessions, along with bonus tracks and things like that. The pure energy they show on (and off) stage is incredible, and John Frusciante's awesome guitar solos (which were enough to make me buy his solo cd) only added to the funky mix. Flea, as always, was amazing. His bass set the mood for the music. Chad is the best drummer ever. He plays with such skill and intensity, you'll think you're actually there live. And who could forget Anthony. I'd give this DVD one more star just for him. All in all, any respectable RHCP fan should buy this, there's no doubt you wont watch this every night.

Summary: RHCP in all their glory!
Review: This is one amazing concert DVD! Having seen the Peppers twice on their 2000 tour, I must say that this footage puts you right there in front of the stage. It is nice to finally have a film that concentrates on an actual Peppers performance (unlike Funky Monks, which is very entertaining but contains too much talk and not enough music).

I have one major complaint however: the Peppers had really awesome background films playing while they performed on the 2000 tour, yet these can hardly be seen on this DVD. Stage setups (lighting, art, etc...) often add a lot to a band's live performance, and the Peppers' 2000 tour was no exception. It would have been cool if the DVD had featured an alternate camera angle whereby we could see the stage backdrop while the band played. Otherwise, this is an incredible disc.

Summary: They Are RED HOT
Review: This is the best DVD in the world.
The R.H.C.P have proved that they are the FUNKY KINGS.
John Frusciante plays guitar better than ever.
They are the most positive band.
GIVE IT AWAY, BABY.
SEE YA.
Pozdrav iz Hrvatske.
Peppersi su najbolji!!!!!

Summary: Watch "Live at Slane Castle" before this one
Review: This might have been essential RHCP before the release of By The Way, but coming to this after having watched Live at Slane Castle, I found it almost painful to watch. The performances aren't fluid and flawless as they are in Slane Castle, the asides are in poor taste, the footage isn't filmed or edited particularly well and the crowd is nonexistent compared to the breathtaking 80,000 at Slane Castle.

Pass this over, it isn't worth your time. Live at Slane Castle, on the other hand, is simply the most amazing live performance ever recorded. This one is far from perfect and might actually turn you off unless you're a hardcore fan.

Edit: I've spent more time with my old RHCP albums and coming back, this review seems a bit harsh, so I'm jacking it up from 3 to 4 stars. Some of the songs and jams that aren't on the Slane Castle DVD are definitely worth hearing, but this is only for those who admire the band's work before BSSM. Buy this only after you've seen Live at Slane Castle.

Summary: Well it's out and i guess the wait was worth it!
Review: To clear A few things up here... another person reviewing this said this was not 1 show but a few...well the whole live show is from the Portland show (the last night with the Foo Fighters opening, this is of course why they covered Chad with spaghetti during Me and My Friends and this is also the debut of the moahawks...which would of course influence Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots to get one when they joined the tour shortly after this show)as for Anthony's hair...the only thing that happens to it is that it gets messed up (probably not enough glue or something or maybe because he's moving around alot and puts his hands in it and it goes down). The only real problem i found with this dvd is that 1. the interviews and backstage footage (obviously not from this show and the last show on the tour)are too short! the rest of the dvd gets an A+ (even though they don't add the encores onto the regular show...something non-dvd owners won't get because they are dvd bonuses but overall it was worth the wait and now all we have to look forward to is that new album which has been announced for a April or May 2002 release!

Summary: one of my favorite concert films!
Review: unlike a previous viewer i prefer this to the slane castle dvd. i will qualify this by saying that both are excellent shows, and any dedicated fan will want both. when i watch a concert on dvd i don't really want to see the audience, who cares. off the map just seems a lot more intimate than slane. slane suffers from mtv style editing at times, especially in the beginning, flashing from shot to shot without letting me see the action. off the map is more artistic, shot by dick rude, and has tons of great long shots. having saw the peppers on both the californication and by the way tours, i think the by the way tour was significantly better, but with the presentation of slane the band can get lost at times among the editing and vast crowd. if you have to choose, get off the map if you like an intimate event focused on the band, get slane if you like the big rock and roll event. both are fantastic. oh yeah, and the special features for once on a dvd are fantastic. search and destroy!

Summary: Oh What A Shame..........
Review: When I saw this DVD was to be released, I could'nt wait. When it was eventually released, it took me a week to find somewhere with a copy. When I finally got it and started playing it, I was extremeley dissappointed. Went and replaced it, and well still dissappointed.
This dvd has on around half of the songs a sync problem, ie actual sound is not in time of mouth movement.
I have tried replacements, and on the 2nd copy have tried it 3 different dvd players.....still the same issue.

It is such a shame I would have given this dvd 5 stars, now I doubt if I'll even keep it.
