Summary: A DVD for REAL metalers!!!!
Review: A DVD for real metal lovers, since it's not a brand produced video, but a home-made, that's the idea, it's doesn't really matters how good it looks, but the content of it. Spectacular gigs from the guys, Kotipelto's accident, and music videos that will blow you!! Live concerts, etc. (Including BD in Santiago, Chile!!!) If you are a REAL metaler you will love this DVD, but if you don't, then go listen to gay pop or rap or even aggro, cause you're not worthy to see this. STRATOVARIUS RULES!!!! METAL RULES!!!

Summary: Poor condition
Review: I'm not a fan of Stratovarious but felt curious of this melodic speed metal band, so I bought this DVD. The video has disappointed me a lot, and I can say that this video is even below a normal bootleg quality. They even used bootleg clips for the music videos, which had a normal standard sound quality and the rest live scenes are all below bootleg quality, but those bootleg clips are shakened and always zooming the members' back ... Anyway, forget this video or you'll get the worst video of this planet.

Summary: Inside look at Stratofunkius, cool but short on music
Review: I'm reviewing a Finish copy which was released few months ago.... While it was great to spend few hours with the band behind the scenes and on the road, the song listing on this DVD is not representative of content. Most of the tracks are provided as background music for interviews, story line, etc. The only complete songs are the 4 or 5 previously released videos at the very end of the disk. Quality of the video is your basic home camcorder grade and same applies for audio, not counting the above mentioned video clips. However, a chance to see this wacky bunch in informal, backstage kind of way is enough to warrant the purchase of this release. Jens's input via a restroom remodeling scene justifies the price alone.

Summary: METAL RULES
Review: This is the kind of DVD that every metaler was looking for, this is an awesome product that you should have, since is a real master piece, with amazing videos that you'll never watch in tv, because they just show gay music like rap, pop, aggro, that is not worth it. so buy it, it will be the best dollars that you will ever spend.

Summary: Mediocre material from a great band.
Review: Though Stratovarius is a wonderful band, I don't think they should have released this DVD like they did; it has the potential to turn away any would-be fans, but those of us who really enjoy them will mostly likely not be daunted by the mediocrity of the video.

It starts out with a statement by two of the band members that it was filmed with little more than a video camera and wasn't specially edited to make a great-quality release... and it shows. The video clips of the concerts were horrid, and I found myself skipping through all but a select few of them. Otherwise, teh behind-the-scenes footage, while often humorous, was lacking in decent documentation. It was aided (if you could say that) by yellow text which was the work of an obviously low-budget film editing program. That wouldn't be so bad if they were to leave the text on the screen long enough to read it, but rarely did I have enough time to get more than just the gist of what they were trying to say.

Aside from the poor quality of the main video itself, you get 5 or 6 profesional-quality music videos. These alone are worth buying the DVD if you really like the songs they play. "Hunting High and Low" and "S.O.S." are especially great videos, as is "Kiss of Judas". The others, though good in quality, were live performances that just didn't strike a chord with me, but were still good nonetheless.

So, if you're willing to pay for a few good music videos, buy this DVD. Otherwise stear clear of it. You'll find yourself skipping most of the main feature due to the shear amateurish nature of it.

Summary: Not exactly a perfect DVD, but stratovarius rules...
Review: well...reading all the others review made me wanted to do one myself...
the quality of the DVD is not the best, i accept it, but the material there is material that you won't find anywhere :P
I really enjoyed some of the live performances (not all of them are good, i mean recording, sound is OK) and the bonus videos are EXCELLENT... so if you like stratovarius, this is a must-have...
