Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wonderful Show
Review: I watched this performance on Don Kirshner's Rock Concert in 1980 or 1981. Sabbath was touring to support "Heaven and Hell" with new singer Ronnie James Dio. Blue Oyster Cult had just released "Cultosaurus Erectus". It is an amazing concert. Dio is the consumate showman. He was able to pull off the songs originally sung by Ozzy, yet he really shined on his work from Heaven & Hell. There are a couple of technical problems (mic not working) in the beginning, but he still manages put on an killer performance. Blue Oyster Cult put on a smoking show with their original lineup. I think it was a mistake for them to open with Dr. Music - one of their weakest songs. The drum solo during Godzilla is pure horror show. Buck Dharma was absolutely on fire - he has some blistering solos. Watching them on stage makes me wonder why they were so unappreciated. If you are a fan of either band, you must obtain this DVD. I have watched it twice in the first week I had it.
