Summary: 2nd place GG DVD
Review:
If you thought youve seen it all after the GG documentary HATED, you re wrong! Live and pissed shows us a concert footage from 1988, a not so young GG but a long haired and beared one giving an excellent performance with sh**, violence and the works. I rate this 5 stars because of the amazing backstage footge, thats a GG you dont see everyday, youll be shocked.

Summary: Fun
Review: A pretty old concert of GG Allin. A pretty good whow. Does alot of good songs. Mingles with the crowd, busts a few faces, (...) same ole same ole.

A definite necessity for any GG Allin or PUNK ROCK fan.

Summary: A fine GG performance
Review: all you could ever ask for in a GG live vid - shakey camera work, caca, blood, fistfights, and the tunes...THE TUNES! This era of GG (the late '80s) saw the great doodoo rocker backed by a Black Sabbath-like band (they even jam on 'Sweet Leaf' at the end). Also included as a bonus is a show from '93, shortly before GG's passing, among other bits. But perhaps the most shocking part of the whole DVD is the backstage footage - GG comes off as a gentleman - chatting w/ fans and sipping a drink! If you haven't seen 'Hated' yet, make sure you see it first, as 'Live & Pissed' is a fine follow up. BITE IT YOU SCUM--FOREVER!!!!!!!!

Summary: Two different men: on and off stage
Review: GG Allin was more of a myth than a musician for years. When I first heard his name in the late 1980s it was always followed by the outlandish tales of his depravity. I never met anyone who actually saw him until years later, just before I saw him live in 1992. He was definitely a split personality, and you see it here on this DVD. I ran into GG at a record store the day of his show and his was a foul smelling person, nothin more. He just sat on the floor, he did not want to dirty the owner's couch, and smelled the place up. He was polite and very unassuming just like he is on the DVD before he goes on stage. Then later at the club he was just as polite to everyone in the building. He spent the last hours before the show drinking in the back with fans, friends, and anyone else with the guts to get near him. Then almost like flipping a switch, he turned into the GG everyone heard of and feared. His antics of degredation scared the hell out of me then, only becuase there was no idea of what he would do next. Any damage to you, the venue or himself was possible and probable. This is a great DVD that gives you a good idea what he was like on and offstage. In so doing you get a full understanding of just how depraved and unpredictable he was before he died.

Summary: It's OK
Review: I'll give this 5 stars because I really enjoyed it and didn't have to pay for it. That being said, it's really not that great. I think the footage of GG and his fans behind the scenes is longer than the actual concert footage. The concert footage is pretty short and crappy and the audio pretty much sucks. The backstage footage is funny and entertaining.

To sum it up, I like it and I'm glad I have it but I'm not sure I'd buy it again.
