Summary: "NOT" Horrible "Longshotex"
Review: Ok, I'm not out of my mind, as you stated. Whitney still does have a voice and I'm sure the "Whitney Fans" don't appriciate your crud remarks concerning her! Whitney gave the performance of a lifetime with "I Will always love you" & "I'm Every Woman". I own this video and also have the audio CD. I have enjoyed them both. Of course I'm a Whitney fan, but I also enjoyed the performances of Tina Turner, Cher and Faith Hill. Tina Turner would be my second favorite on this program. She gave such energy to the show! Yes, Longshotex, I enjoy Leanne Rhims, but she's no "Whitney". Whitney is the "Queen".... Long Live the Queen!

Summary: Whitney, Cher, Brandy, Tina: Good show, but
Review: The follow up to Divas Live was not as great as the original. However the stars Whitney, Cher, Brandy, Tina, and a few special guests including Sir Elton John did an alright performance. I thought Whitney and Tina did the best in this show, but Elton kind of stole the show in some ways. I thought it was bland with more special guests than headline performers. The first Divas show with Celine, Gloria, Aretha, Shania, and Carey only had Carole King as a special guest.

Summary: Flawed Diva DVD
Review: There is no doubt about it within the rankings of live performaces from VH1. Still, they've been able to do a whole lot of good with their annual Divas benefits since 1998. It has raised millions of dollars for the VH1 Save The Music Foundation. Still, there is such a thing about when a live concert is flawed with certain missed performances. Sometimes, you want to see it in full on VH1, if they can re-broadcast it again.

The VH1 Divas Live '99, was a wonderfully filled Diva night with so many great perfformances with Whitney Houston, Faith Hill, and a whole cast of divas to match. The performances range from showstopping ballads, like Whitney Houston performing her mega-hit I Will Always Love You, to surprise collaborations including Cher, Tina Turner and Elton John taking to the stage with Proud Mary. Unfortunately, like the live album, I was very, very dissapointed because there was a few songs that weren't set on this DVD that should've been there. They included Elton John and Leann Rimes performing Written In The Stars, Cher performing her comeback hit Believe, and Whitney Houston also had two extra songs that were not included. My Love Is Your Love and It's Not Right But Its Okay from My Love Is Your Love, were also performed that evening. Perhaps that next time VH1 does a Divas benefit, they can include all the performances.

It was just a shame that it wasn't in the fullest form with Divas Live '99. Still, is you recorded it the night it was aired, you didn't miss a thing. Here, the DVD misses a lot. Still, if you don't have VH1 and you want to get the Diva mode, try renting this collection and watch it on video.

Summary: Vh1 Cut's Out Best from Video
Review: Vh1 cut out the best from this video. Although it is still a good video of the concert and Tina Turner and Whitney Houston sing their hearts out, VH1 cut out two of Whitney's hits and totally cut out Cher's new hit, Believe. Cher is a Diva in her own right. Who care's about Brandy and Mary J. Blidge. The hightlight is Tina Turner and Whitney singing "I will always Love You". Forgive me if I've misspelled or uncorrectly stated the names of these songs. J. Smith, Los Angeles, CA.
