Summary: Excellent
Review: This is a cool DVD. The sound on disc 1 is flawed- i turned it up full volume and only had a medium sound. Disc 2 is too loud- I had the volume on 3 and that was plenty. The interviews and back stage is cool. I got the impression the band isn't nearly as evil as they try and be on stage in their personal lives. There's also not that much differance between the band and their fans. The image quality on one of the shows on disc 2 is flawed, with only a long shot and a fuzzy image. Also, Alt Lys is played with no vocals and keyboards. Even with these flaws, this is still an excellent DVD and a must-have for Dimmu fans.

Summary: Great Music DVD to add to your collection
Review: This is a great DVD, especially if you're a Dimmu Borgir fan. If you just heard a couple of there tunes though, maybe you better wait and get some more of this band under your belt before buying. I really love this DVD, however it is far from perfect. As mentioned, the sound is not up to other DVD standards, its not bad either, just not top notch. The bootleg footage is terrible and not even worth watching, although there is plenty of other footage on here to where this doesn't even matter. You get 3 disk total. One is a music cd, the other has more footage on it. It folds out to be an upside down cross with some funny pictures on it. Its Kind Of pricey but I think its well worth it. Like others mentioned, I would have liked to see more songs/ or other songs on here. Think they should have put way more tunes from their Puritanical Euphoric Misanthopia album on here then they did.

Summary: Loaded DVD Package
Review: This was way better than my expectations. It took me a while to warm up to Dimmu's latest album, but I have considerably since it first came out. Much of this DVD set is live performances from "Puritanical," and Dimmu put on a hell of a good live show. The sound and video quality are top notch, and the camera does not just sit and focus on one band member, but covers pretty much everyone and everything. Between the live tracks are clips of backstage / tour footage / interviews. A lot of this stuff is pretty cool, but it's also VERY wierd (and at times just downright sick). It's kind of like the Satyricon DVD in the sense that you get glipses of the band as they "really" are (apparently drunk a lot of the time). The second DVD contains older shows, including my personal favorite Dimmu song, "Stormblast." Overall, this is a great DVD set than any Dimmu fan should not be without.

Summary: Lacking in some really good songs
Review: Well I think so at the very least. Most of these sons are from the PEM album(which I find rather dissappointing) and many of my favorites like For All Tid, Alt Lys Er Svunnet Hen,Mourning Palace, In Death's Embrace, Dreamside Dominions and Grotesquery Conceled are left out of the set.

Fortunately, the back stage footage makes up for this, at least a little anyway. The individual interviews with all the members are clearly edited, and they speak with only the smallest of accents so what they say can easily be understood. You learn some new things about them that you probably won't expect, such as Mustis' interest in acoustic instrument like the rain stick that he shows. At times all the backstage stuff gets confusing with so many non-band members walking around, and certaing scenes have things in them that many may prefer to look away from(these may only last about a second). I do feel they drink a bit excessively, and many scenes focus too much on the beer going into their mouths, but most of the footage is worthwhile and enjoyable, giving you a good idea about how the band actually gets along with each other and how they occupy themselves in their spare time. I just could not give it five stars because so many of their greater songs are not present here.
