Summary: Just shut up and watch, if you're a true fan that is........
Review: RIP DIME!!! This is a great DVD for any fan of this colossal band. Being a local resident to the Funky Town/Arlington area where these guys (with the exception of Phil) are from, I have had the privilege of seeing these guys perform in basements all the way up to packed stadiums. Yeah- and for all you little whining half nerd panty wastes, the DVD could use some added functionality but does it even need it!!?? If you are a fan you will find a lot here that far exceeds what you can do with the disc (Give me a break and leave this one for the O.G.'s)!!!!!!!!
RIP DIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: Poor DVD for the best Metal band ever
Review: Simply put, Pantera is by far my favorite metal band. The energy they exude in concert is unrivaled. However, this DVD barely even begins to capture any of that.

The production of this DVD is poor. Everything from the title screen to the lack of scene selection to the clips that they show are badly chosen. When I purchased this DVD, I was hoping to see a lot of concert footage. But this lacks that. Instead, it shows a lot of clips of the members of Pantera playing pranks on each other or having a good time backstage... not to say that is not entertaining. But when I purchase a music group's DVD, I'm hoping that they have concert footage. The only good live concert footage that they have on this is from their Moscow concert, which was incredibly awesome! If they had two hours of that type of footage, then I would give this DVD 5 stars! Unfortunately, it lasts only a couple of songs.

If you like music videos (MTV style), then this may be a good DVD set for you: the Pantera videos are contained on these discs. They even contain some extras like how and where they shot the videos.

Bottom line is, if you want to see Pantera clown around and have fun while not playing music, then buy this DVD... you will love it. But if you are looking for concert footage, then I would pass on this and look towards Chaos DVD (Sepultura) or even Live At The Grand Olympic Auditorium (Rage Against The Machine).

Summary: No Surprises Here
Review: The boys in Texas metal power Pantera like to have fun, in the dangerous sort of way. And this collection of personal footage and videos captures that in all its ugliness. While onstage, they may be ultra-serious metal madmen(particualrly fully tattooed singer Phil Anselmo), offstage they are fun-lovin' wild boys, ready to whoop it up - anywhere, anytime, with anyone. That seems to be their creedo and they live by it. Never has so much alcohol been consumed, so many dressing rooms destroyed and so many hundred dollar bills gien away so freely. How they do it is the real treat. One fan at an airport is paid to eat maggots, another is paid backstage to drink a bottle of hot sauce(which of course he cannot do) and let us not think they don't include their employees; a security guard is offered 1000 dollars to eat a gigantic birthday cake that George Foreman himself would have a hard time finishing. And that's only a couple of the many memorable moments herein contained.

Summary: This DVD *ROCKS*!
Review: This 245 min DVD is guaranteed to please every metalhead! The music is HEAVY, the image of the video clips superb. The best of all are the behind the scenes private video shots of the band: jokes, all in baaaad taste :-) and some of them pretty disgusting, lots of cameo appearances from other metal celebrities, mayhem & destruction. This DVD is pure sex, drugs, rock'n'roll!

Summary: Doesn't get much better
Review: This collection of videos is one of the best deals going. If you are a Pantera fan then this set is for you. Contained within this collection you get to see the progression of the band as a whole and of the members themselves. It's amusing watching Phil's hair styles through the years. My favorite scenes are all of the band partying. There's nothing better than seeing the kinds of tricks they pull on each other, how they act when they're trashed and just realizing that they're all normal people. If you want personality then wait to see Dime, especially in 3: Watch It Go. His personality is hilarious. Watching the stunts he pulls on everyone is rioutous. For getting a closer look at the band and how they all work, this collection is where to go.

Summary: Smoke 'em if you got 'em
Review: This DVD collects all three of Pantera's previously released home videos (Cowboys From Hell, Vulgar Video, and 3: Watch it Go) and as a DVD bonus contains concert footage from Pantera's Monsters of Rock performance in Moscow which took place nearly 10 years ago. All three videos are hilarious and we get to see what kind of a fun lovin' bunch Pantera can be. Lookout for cameos appearences from Suicidal Tendencies, Alice in Chains, Rob Halford, Kerry King of Slayer, Prong, White Zombie, Crowbar, Skid Row, Megadeth, Trent Reznor (in the most hilarious part of the videos), and Marilyn Manson among others. While this is a great DVD to have, there is one big problem, you cannot skip between chapter selections like you can with other DVD's. That alone will determine how you feel about this DVD. If you already own all three of the single home videos, there is no sense in buying this, but if you don't and you own a DVD player and love Pantera, give this a shot.

Summary: Awesome DVD about an awesome band
Review: This DVD compilation of all of Pantera's "home videos" is a great insight into the band itself. Now be forewarned, this is not the videos you want to show the kids (unless you want them to grow up and be rock stars) and simple minded adults beware as well. It will truly offend your delicate sensibilities. Nudity, swearing and the use of a certain plant that some folks roll up and smoke abounds in this production. None of this bothered me. I was unaware of just exactly what goes on in the life of a big time rock and roll star. This release leaves nothing, and I mean NOTHING, to the imagination. It displays many of their fan based philosophies. Phil Anselmo goes to bat for a single fan that is being jacked around by security. Most bands don't really care if half the audience gets ejected as long as they have paid for the ticket. The fan interactions are what makes Pantera a band for the fans. This is a band that loves their fans and wants everyone to leave their show just blown away. Which they usualy do. Pick this DVD up and feel the intensity that is Pantera. Special guest apperiances include Skid Row, Alice in Chains, Kerry King of Slayer, Rob Halford of Judas Priest fame plus many others. There is also some footage of one of their guys who sat on a copy machine and went through the glass. What is shocking about that you might ask, well the guys pants and underwear were down. He was going to xerox his rearend and wound up with multiple lacerations on his checks and and legs. Nothing serious though, just minor cuts and scrapes. Now another member of their crew has a gigantic boil on butt check and it shows the doctor lance it and squeeze the contents out. Truly classic material. Just check it out.

Summary: PANTERA!...PANTERA!... PANTERA!...
Review: This DVD had loads of videos and behind the scenes footage. Not only is Pantera the best heavy metal band of all time, they make one mean video too. This video is hilarious!! I showed this DVD to a few people that do not like Heavy metal. (Thats right, Do NOT like metal. I know it's crazy.) They still loved this video. It rocks hard!!

Summary: A must-have for Pantera fans
Review: This dvd has just about everything you could ask for from Pantera. Live performances, backstage interviews, them breaking things, lots of swearing, lots of alcohol...it is just a good old time. I recommend this highly to any fans of Pantera.
