Summary: Sade the Smooth Performer
Review: I have been a devoted fan of Sade and her band since they first entered the scene in 1985. Her music has always been a romantic inspiration of the way love should be. In 1994 I had the pleasure of seeing her live for the first time. It was truly a mesmerizing experience. Enter 2001. Her first tour in seven years in support of an amazing CD. Even after the hiatus, Sade proved to me not only once in concert, but twice that she is not only as great as she was live in 1994, but has actually improved. She captivated the audience and this reviewer for almost 2 hours. And she accomplished this with none of the glitz that surround most of the other current performers that claim to be Divas. If a diva is defined by Talent and the ability to communicate to an audience, then Sade is truly a DIVA.

Summary: What a great concert experience!
Review: I have to say Sade is one of my favorite artist. She has such a beautiful and captivating voice. I saw her live this past summer and she definitely gave an outstanding performance. She set the tone and mood for the audience that before you knew it, 2 1/2 hours had gone by. I'm so glad ... her Sade Lovers Live concert [is] on DVD because I will definitely buy it ... so I can enjoy the experience over and over again. I just got her Live CD and it sounds great!

LMAO Sade Lovers Live on DVD would make great entertainment for a Dinner Party, intimate dinner, or quite quality time by yourself. Whatever, you name it!! There are only a few artist who give a live performance like Sade. ON MY LIST SADE IS THE BEST!!

Summary: She's Still Got It!!
Review: I was fortunate enough to have the pleasure of catching Sade in Memphis in Sept. of 2001, and I can honestly say that I would have never believed that she had practically been out of the music public for so long. She takes the stage as keeps the crowd fixed on her every move. This dvd will be a great reminder of one of the best live shows I have ever seen. If you missed the live show, here's your chance for the next best thing.

Review: Have not seen this video but, if this release is the live concert filmed at MGM in Las Vegas (9/15/01), this is one fabulous video, especially for couples in love. She played all the hits that lovers would want to hear.

Review: I had the extreme pleasure of seeing Sade live for the first time this past summer. As an avid concert goer, I found her show to be romantic, sexy and sensual. Sade capitvates the audience with her smokey voice and amazing stage presence. She sings and moves effortlessly (in her bare feet) across the stage with the grace and beauty of a peacock. The world is blessed to have this voice known as Sade. This DVD is not only for the hardcore fans but for those who would like to ease the stress of a busy day. Pop this into the player and you too will experience what I did this past summer, beauty, elegance and a truly magnificent voice!

Summary: Waiting with anticipation...
Review: I can't wait for the release of this DVD. I own the first concert DVD of Sade and it's wonderful. I was lucky enough to attend her concert here in Toronto last summer and witnessed first-hand the amazing "Lover's Live" concert. Sade has it all - talent, beauty, passion, sophisticiation. And her band members are all excellent also. As a whole, the Sade concert experience is as good as it gets. The "Lover's Live" DVD will hopefully capture the grandeur of the live performance.

Summary: Perfection!
Review: What a great DVD! Sade is truly one of the best performers of our time. I've always found great pleasure in her music, even though "Smooth Operator" was overplayed when she broke onto the North American scene. Some singers are great on record, but poor live. Proof of her fanastic abilities were bourne out when I saw her perform live on Saturday Night Live about 5 years ago. Excellent and bang on. This is a well recorded DVD with excellent quality and visuals. Of couse, Sade is the best visual! Her band is composed of excellent musicians and singers. "Kiss of Life", "Ordinary Love" and "Sweetest Taboo" are my favs on this DVD. This is a great one to watch, dance too or leave it on and bop around the house. It's just under 2 hours long, and it's excellent value for the price and quality of her music.

Review: Sade sounds better live! Wonderful band. But this DVD almost puts me to sleep. It's the songs. Ballads. Sleep time. Also Sade can't dance but her back up men can and sometimes when she spoke to the audiance i can't understand her.
