Summary: Not a real live video, but great nevertheless
Review: As a Queen fanatic I love this video. I was disappointed however, that this is Queen live, but not really live... By that I mean that it was cut together and they left out one of Queen's greatest live songs: Love of my life. All the special effects and the fast cuts make it seem more like a videoclip. The live atmosphere gets through once in a while, but not quite like in the We will rock you DVD. Live at Wembley has much better quality of film and sound, but you don't feel like you're actually there. If you are a Queen fan, get this. If you want to see a real live concert get We will rock you.

Summary: Live At Wembley: The Greatest Live Video EVER!
Review: Queen Live At Wembley is bar-none the greatest live concert video I have ever seen. This is Queen at its best and the track listing is a greatest hits album. I always said that if I had to listen to one CD for the rest of my life, this would be it. I suggest EVERYONE see the video. BHM is KING

Summary: Not Freddie at his best
Review: I thouroughly enjoyed this Video. Seeing the boys together is always a joy. I saw Queen in concert in the 70s and 80s, and this presentation does not show Freddie at the top of his form. Nonetheless, it is QUEEN, and we true, die-hard fans love it anway!! ( I did find it from another online store, in stock..)

Summary: FANTASTIC!
Review: This is 75% of the whole concert (FROM THE LP'S/CD'S),but it is GREAT!The show has some big hits that show how powerful this band really was, from the early 1970's right up to the "A Kind Of Magic" album in 1986.THIS WAS PART OF THE 'MAGIC TOUR',and it lived up to that.Even without the other parts that were cut out of the VIDEO (mostly 'NON-QUEEN' songs) this has alot of good fun in the 75 minutes,Freddie's great "voice test with fans" is here and some great comments about the so-called "BREAK-UP OF QUEEN".A very good tape, and a very great sample of the legend that was QUEEN. END

Summary: The Must-Have Queen Show
Review: I admit I became a true Queen fan late in life. I've known their music for years, of course, but never saw any performances to fit to the music. Then, I got my copy of Live Aid on DVD. To say that Queen ruled that show from on high would a MAJOR understatement. That performance was incredible, amazing, and completely once-in-a-lifetime. I was hooked. When I found this DVD on Amazon, I promptly ordered it. I wasn't disappointed. The group hits the stage running, and all engines firing. The sound is wonderful, and I really enjoy hearing the crowd roar along in sing-along mode or in approval, it makes the whole concert DVD experience like stepping back in time to actually be there. Some have taken exception to Queen doing old rock standards like 'Tutti Frutti' and 'Hello Mary Lou', but I feel they did those to just have fun with the show and the audience, so just enjoy it. The whole presentation is top-notch, the picture quality is outstanding for 19-year-old video tape recordings, and the sound will blow you away! Honestly, VERY few artists have innate showman and performance talents. So many try, but that's really all they do. Freddie Mercury had a God-given gift to own a stage by sheer presence alone, not to mention what the man could do with his voice. We really likely won't see his like again in this pre-packaged age we live in now, which is a true shame. Get this DVD and enjoy the amazing talent on display, and keep it in mind when you see a concert on TV, and just appreciate what true talent is.

Summary: Great Queen performance!
Review: Being a Queen fan, I have most of the existing recorded concerts on DVD, such as We Will Rock You. Unlike in We Will Rock You, Freddie Mercury seems to have better voice control and doesn't just do the essence of the song, but more of the studio version. Not only does this recording have great songs that are rare and somewhat unknown, such as In The Lap of the Gods and Is This the World We Created, but many of the songs are from past generations and Queen's #1 hits. The second disk has detailed interviews with Roger Taylor and Brian May which are interesting to watch. A great buy for a new Queen fan, and of course the Queen collector.

Summary: Thanks Mitchell
Review: I heard one of the songs from this recording over the radio, and knew I needed to own it. You can hear the audience sings along
the whole time. So I bought the recording (not DVD). Listened to the whole thing last night. A truely amazing band.
So, I then wondered if there was a DVD video version. Indeed there is. I'll be ordering it directly!!!!!

Summary: Sorpresa Agradable

Summary: 3 1/2 Star Dvd
Review: In the mid 1980s Freddie Mercury contracted what would later be diagnosed as aids and his health began to fail. Mercurys voice was allready damaged as a result of smoking coupled with exaustion from heavy touring. Queen had taken a 1983 break from touring because of voice problems from Freddie as well as for a break from constant touring with the hopes of coming back and playing to the end of their career but that did not happen. Mercurys abilities as a showman were compromised, the band was tired and they chose initially a longer break of 3 years after the final show of thier 1986 tour at Knebworth Park. That never happened as Freddie collapsed after a Solo Concert in 1988 and was diagnosed with aids. With Mercury no longer able to perform properly Live as a Frontman for his safety and popularity Queen stopped touring live for good. Live At Wembley captures Queen during the 1986 tour, a time when Queen were at thier worst as a Live Band but still gave thier all and its decent under the circumstances, Freddies weaker voice and moving about less, simpler 80s songs with a offstage/onstage musician used quite a bit and a silly medley of songs.

Summary: great DVD, but kinder & gentler than in days past...
Review: This show from the 1986 Magic tour is worth owning, particularily because the crowd intensity will give you goosebumps. The folks in the nosebleed seats are just as jacked up as the fanatics in the front, and it's quite an amazing sight. The performance by Queen is solid, and the opening few numbers will have diehards nodding their heads in approval (including an always welcome "In The Lap Of The Gods--Revisted"). However, of the three available live Queen DVDs in the US, Live at Wembley Stadium is probably the one I watch least. Don't get me wrong, overall the show IS essential viewing, but much of it feels too "glossy" compared to earlier tours. The extra synth work (coming from offstage) takes the edge off many songs, and the band's sense of urgency is not on the level of the On Fire At The Bowl or We Will Rock You DVDs IMO...at times, it sounds less like "Queen: Rock Band" and more like "Queen: Pop Band". Having said that, "Queen: Pop Band" is still more acceptable than 90% of what else is out there. Live At Wembley Stadium is an important piece of Queen history, and it's definitely worth recommending...and not just for the concert either, 'cuz the bonus features are also worth viewing...
