Summary: Slayer's best concert on DVD!
Review: I just got home and watched this DVD and it is phenominal. The sound is awesome, the picture is crystal clear, the fans are crazy, the backstage and interview stuff's a little weird but overall this is one of my new favourite DVD's. Hands down the best they've ever done, performance-wise, sound-wise, energy-wise etc. This is a must have for any die-hard Slayer fan. Slayer forever baby!

Summary: Slayer never cease to amuse and amaze!!!!!!!
Review: The sound quality is great with an excellent in your face guitar solo tone that cuts like a knife just as intended. On top of that the drums are awesome, tight and pounding. Araya's voice is top notch as usual and sounds perfect on this dvd!!! The camera angles do not make you dizzy like Maiden and Megadeth constantly moving all over. Instead you get great close ups. The song selection is actually pretty damn good too! On top of that the fans rule section is worth the price alone! The Beavis type guy is just great!!!!! No matter how little you like Slayer or if you are getting a little older and don't thrash like you used to you still owe it to yourself to buy this dvd cause it smokes!

Review: INSANE,INSANE,INSANE

I HAVENT YET EXPOLRED THE WHOLE DVD, BUT THE LIVE SHOW IS INTENSE. ONE SMALL COMPLAINT, PAUL BOSTAFF F@#*$ UP THE BASS DRUM SOLO IN ANGEL OF DEATH. WELL WORTH 15$ AND THEN SOME.

Summary: This DVD [stinks]!
Review: Tom Araya's voice is shot. It gives out at the middle only to be replaced by overdubs. Don't get this ... DVD.

Summary: Great Concert Video - Disgraceful Fan Documentary
Review: This DVD has a great concert performance. I saw them live a few months after this show was taped and the video is very faithful to the live experience. Most of the best songs from each album are included in the set list. I have a surround sound system and the 5.1 sound and production are awesome. I would give this DVD 5 stars if they had not included the fan documentary (see below) and then interspersed excerpts from the documentary between some of the concert songs, but they did so minus 1 star.

Now - The fan documentary is completely idiotic - a condescending and insulting portrait of Slayer fans. The purpose was supposedly to show how "crazy" Slayer fans are. A respectful fan documentary would portray this "craziness" as enthusiasm for the music and the band. However, the director of the documentary gives camera time not to diehard music fans but to a collection of inarticulate imbeciles who can barely manage anything more intelligent than a grunt. A few of these individuals have some sort of obvious clinical mental illness. Of course, his questions to girls are sexual in nature (give me a break, this is Slayer, not Poison). One he even asks an off the wall question pertaining to necrophilia. Get a life and some respect, idiot! Of the more than one dozen fans who are allowed to address the camera, there is one guy in his mid-30s who actually is allowed to say something intelligent. This is all the director's fault. His intention seems to have been to seek out the most naive people he could find in order to humiliate them on camera with absurd and grotesque questions. It's almost like "Decline of Western Civilization Part 2: The Metal Years" where the people taking part do not even realize they are there to be made fun of. Most of the fans interviewed are young, much younger than the average age (30) of us holdovers from the 80s who made up the crowd at the live show I attended. I suspect that if this director would have tried using older fans as dancing bears like he did to the younger kids he would have needed some help extracting his camera.

The band does speak highly of its fans in the interview segments and during the concert I attended Tom gave a hearfelt thanks to long-time fans who stuck with them. But why did they allow such a shameful display to accompany their concert on the DVD? I certainly know I'll never confess to being a Slayer fan in public if that's how the band wants their fans to be seen.

I'll watch the concert again but there is no way that documentary will ever see the laser light again.

Summary: GREAT live dvd, but...
Review: While I absolutely love the live concert part of this dvd, there is a section called "fans rule" that you can watch. This is why i only gave it 3 stars. It shows just how [messed] up some of slayers fans are. Everything from killing dogs in the name of satan to having sex with dead people is mentioned. I'm sorry but thats just sick. These fans need to get some serious help. So thats the only reason why I didnt give the dvd 5 stars.

Summary: AWSOME!
Review: Pure energy! If you're Slayer fan, or Slayer is one of the bands you would like to have in your DVD collection, THIS DVD IS ABSOLUTELY FOR YOU! It really doesn't matter if you never had a chance to see them live because this DVD will put you right in front of their stage! You'll feel your ... getting kicked, and the only thing you have to care for is your TV and speakers end up in one piece! Slayer in their best! A pure proof that they never ever sold out and that they never will no matter how many records they sell. Take a bow to this AWSOME release.
Couple of nice extras including their video clip for "Bloodline"!
The only thing I didn't like on this DVD is bunch of stupid posers talking some ...! I have no clue how come Slayer wants those ... to represent the rest of the people that LOVE Slayer??? It simply doesn't fit!!! I felt like those people came to the wrong place... Perhaps they thought they thought they bought a tickets for Korn or Mudvayne show?!?
Anyways, DO NOT MISS TO JOIN A BLOODSHED ON SLAYER'S WARFIELD!!!

Summary: Tom Araya's voice is shot
Review: Araya's voice is totally shot. He was gone by the third song, and the rest of the singing on the DVD is overdubs. Avoid this badly done DVD. Get Live Intrusion instead.
