Summary: The Slaytanic Wehrmacht keeps on killing!
Review: The Slaytanic Wehrmacht keeps on killing. With "Post Mortem" then "Raining Blood" then "Hell Awaits," does it get any better?

Summary: Amazing concert all on DVD!
Review: This is one hell of a live DVD. I just got it last night and I'm blown away on how great this is. I've seen other lives shows on TV and such, but this isn't even comparable, because it was just well done. And you've got the best speed metal band ever, Slayer! They have at least one song from each album on here, and it's a nice mix between old an new. There's five tracks from the new album, God Hates Us All though, but they're obviously just promoting it.

Anyway, I highly recommend it to anyone who likes metal or Slayer. Slaaaayeeeeeeer!

Summary: Hold on, now
Review: I bought this under the impression that Dave Lombardo would be drumming (clever how they didn't mention the band members until you've purchased it and look inside...). All in all, it's an average performance, other than Tom's voice turning to pure sh*t after maybe 5 songs, and it's painfully obvious Paul Bostaph doesn't want to be there. I give it 3 stars when I really think it deserved 2, but they get an extra point for not selling out, which means they have about 20 songs here that sound EXACTLY THE SAME.... I've seen them live before (in '96 and again in'99) and was not impressed, and again, I just wanted to see Dave drumming, which was another disappointment. When the hell is Sepultura gonna do a new live DVD? Now that's a metal band that keeps things interesting.

Summary: ULTIMATE SLAYER DVD!
Review: This DVD is the perfect thing for any huge Slayer fan or just someone looking to get interested in such an awesome band. When buying this DVD, I had previously seen the concert footage for "Raining Blood", a classic, which I was blown away by. I immediately knew I had to buy this DVD after I saw "Angel of Death" on it and ordered it from Amazon with free shipping and it was delivered in 3 days after I ordered it. Also at $14.99, it is much cheaper than you would find in any store or ebay for that matter. Rock on.

Summary: What's up with Bostaph's shirt in the video. . .?
Review: Concert is what I expected cause I saw them twice during G.H.U.A. But a big distraction for me was the "blurring" of Bostaph's shirt. I paused it a couple times and saw that it had something to do with Elvis. Anybody know what the shirt says?

The cuts to fans between songs was kinda annoying, and broke the flow on the concert sometimes. But who gives a s@#$ what I think. SLAYER!!! :) Can't wait for the boxed set to come out.

Summary: ...and on the 8th day, He created the new Slayer DVD
Review: This is it. Nothing like this will ever be created in the remaining lifetime of the Universe. Unsurpassable sound & video. Undiluted mayhem. Unlimited visual and sonic fury. Slayer is a band made for DVD. The music is so extreme & intense, it pushes the technology to the limit, maybe beyond. From classic cuts like 'War Ensemble' and the perennial favourite, 'Chemical Warfare' to new tracks such as 'God Send Death' & 'Bloodline'(video included!), this band never lets up for a second. And then there is the 'Fans Rule' section, featuring interviews with the band, their musical peers (including Metallica's Kirk Hammett), and of course...the fans. Never dull nor uninspiring, they are truly of a single mind & vision...this band in King. Right, Kerry? Seriously, this DVD must be bought. Then watched. Very often. Enough said.

Summary: SLAYTANIC
Review: If you know anything about slayer, then you know what to expect. The hardest, most intense metal out there. I saw slayer last year, (during a "warm up" show in hell), and they tore the roof off the place. (reason for the hot summer and spur of forest fires on earth). As for the "the guy who just screams alot". Well that's Tom Araya, and if you have to try to listen to the words, then you don't know what metal is about. The big, bald, scary guy with tattoos on his head is one of my finest minions.....Kerry King. Oh, yeah, the satanic symbols are a great pastime. It's like rooting for your favorite football team. You display their symbols and mascots, then why not mine? GO TEAM!! To catagorize this DVD as a nightmare is a pure compliment. I know it doesn't match up to REO speedwagon's intensity, or Damn Yankees (who lasted about a week or two), but hey there's always Carly what's her name?
Regardless, if you bought the DVD then don't say the devil made you do it, because I didn't. Thank you for your support, and have a slaytanic day.......
