Summary: INCREDIBLE!! WHAT A PERFORMER
Review: An incredible video. I saw it on PBS and had to purchase it. I am a grandmother and wish I had half the energy of Tina Turner. Not only is she beautiful, her voice is powerful, her performance is electric and her moves dynamic. I would recommend this video to everyone!! KEEP UP YOUR FANTASTIC WORK TINA!!!

Summary: She's "Simply The Best" ever - this DVD proves why!
Review: Even at 60 years old, age couldn't stop the legendary Tina Turner from giving an absolutely AMAZING last performance. Even her usual amazing band (some have been with her since her big comeback in 1984),an incredible stage with awesome lighting/effects, terrific dancers and cheoreography, NOTHING can compare to the powerful, energetic, show-stopping performance that Tina gives in this, her farewell concert. Like the rest of the cities she played on the Twenty Four Seven Tour 2000, (I saw Tina in Greenville, SC on this tour) Wembley Stadium in London, England is SOLD OUT for this show. Opening with "I Wanna Take You Higher", Tina takes the audience on a journey of her career from "A Fool in Love", "River Deep Mountain High" and "Acid Queen" to the 1980's hits "What's Love...", "Private Dancer" & "Let's Stay Together", to her remade classics of "I Heard it Through The Grapevine", "Addicted to Love" and "Proud Mary". Throughout several costume and set changes, Tina dances in her 6 inch high heels and sings her heart out through nearly 2 hours of TOTAL entertainment. Also included is a backstage interview/behind the scenes about the tour and album and audio selections. She's been called the greatest female live performer and has sold more concert tickets than any other female singer in music history. After seeing this DVD, you'll understand why Tina Turner is "Simply The Best!" (Also see Tina's 1996 tour video "Wildest Dreams" which is also very great).

Summary: Eagle Vision-Shame
Review: First I must say that as always, Tina is fantastic. The problem with this DVD release is the audio(or lack there of?).If you have a half decent Dolby Digital or DTS sound system, then don't waste your money on this DVD. For some reason Eagle Vision chose to release this concert in 4.1 Doly Digital & DTS. That's right folks, NO CENTER CHANNEL. The feature menu at the beginning of this DVD lists and depicts the choices as 4.1 D.D or DTS??(Have heard of 4.0 & 5.1, not 4.1) One must exit the D.D. or DTS mode and play with their DSP Processor to get a half decent sound. Just a few days ago I played my Laser Disc copy of Tina Turner Live in Amsterdam. That (D.D. 5.1)remains one of the great recorded concerts available despite being six years old and puts to shame this latest concert release. Having seen her 2000 tour in Boston, I thought I would be buying a lasting memory of Tina's great performance. Instead I purchased a dudd. If it wern't for the poor quality of the recording, I would give this DVD 5 stars. My suggestions is that one waits, and hope Eagle Vision wakes up and re-releases a more up to date 5.1 version.

Summary: I can bearly hear Tina's voice
Review: Great show! Excellent artist! But the DVD sound really makes me disappointed. Tina's voice is almost "buried" in the loudness. One must try very hard to be able to hear her singing.

Summary: Tina Turner is Great as always, but lousy DVD
Review: I agree with the previous review, although Tina puts on a hell of a show as always, looks great for her age, puts all she has into her voice, I was really disappointed with this DVD. First of all, I should know,because I am a HUGE live concert DVD collector, so I know the difference between a well recorded, well filmed concert DVD and a bad one...this is a BAD one ! The sound is terrible, very muddy, and the filming is atrocious ! I kept getting the impression that the director of this DVD was some film student doing a school project. First of all, it looked like he put some kind of blue lens on the camera to get some kind of artsy , smokey effect....this was an outdoor afternoon concert, so this effect looked like crap to me. Finally (and this drove me up the wall) , it was shot with four or five cameras, and this same guy couldnt keep his finger off the button to switch cameras, it was like he couldn't make up his mind what he wanted to film, he was switching the camera between Tina, the back-up singers, the musicians , the crowd, and the wide stage shot, every one and a half seconds ! It was so irritating I almost turned it off. One would think he would have the brains to leave a camera on one spot at least 10 seconds. If I was Tina, reviewing the finished product , I'd be pissed. I may try the Amsterdam concert, based on a few reviews that it apparently has much better sound, but I wouldn't recommend this DVD to anyone but hardcore Tina fans. If you want to buy EXCELLENT concert DVDs, based on sound quality, filming quality, music and overall bang for your buck , a few I can highly recommend are Peter Gabriel's "Brave New World", Heart's "The Road Home", the Carol King Concert, ELO's "Zoom Tour Live", Bad Company's "Merchants of Cool", Roger Waters "In The Flesh", Genesis "The way we Walk", The Moody Blues "Live at Red Rocks", the Rolling Stones "Four Flicks" boxed set, and Stevie Nicks "live at Red Rocks". You won't be disappointed with any of these, but stay away from this one.

Summary: Poor sound quality!
Review: I am not rating this disc 2 stars because of Turner's performance. She gives an excellent show. What upsets me is that the sound quality of this DVD could and should be much better. If this is the way DVD sound is going to go than I wish the times of good old laserdiscs would come back. Just listen to the DTS laserdisc of Tina Turner live in Amsterdam (or the Dolby digital version) and you will get the point. They give a feeling that you are in the crowd. Of course, if you have never experienced these laserdiscs and come from crappy VHS, then you will enjoy this. High end audiophiles with a decent home theater however will be very disappointed.

Summary: Tina is always the BEST
Review: I can say that I am a lucky person, because I could see Tina 5 times on her last tour. She was absolutely wonderful, as she has been always. With this video I can feel myself on the show again and this is worth everything for me. I am very happy that the DVD contains the whole concert, because Tina gives us unforgottable moments each and evry second. She is full of energy, she is dazzling us, she is happy and makes us happy. The saying is absolutely true: "Tina's smile is shining the whole stadium".

Summary: A Great Tina Keepsake!
Review: I caught Tina's 24-7 tour twice and doubted that any video could adequately capture the excitement and raw energy of her amazing live performance. I was wrong. Filmed during her Wembley Stadium show in summer 2000, this concert shows Tina ending her touring career with a bang. Backed by her top-notch band, exquisite dancers and backup singers, Tina gives 100% of herself to every song and the audience loves her for it. The set list contains songs from throughout Tina's career, from A Fool in Love and Proud Mary (of course!) right up to Whatever You Need from her latest album -- a great musical tour of her 40-year career. This DVD features excellent sound and very good video quality, plus a special behind-the-scenes look at life on the road during the tour. If you want to watch a true legend go out on top, this is the DVD for you.

Summary: YOUR HEAD WILL SPIN!!!
Review: I got dizzy trying to watch this crazy video. I guess it was edited in the current style, with no shot held more than 10 seconds (most held for less time than that!) Perhaps I am unusual that I like to watch a performer perform, and I believe that a performance builds. This dvd is so disjointed, with rapid cuts from Tina to frenetic audience members to other dancers to overhead shots of the entire stadium, that it's impossible to take in.

Review: I got to see Tina in concert during her 24-7 tour,she is totally awesome! She still has so much energy and spirit its unbelieveable.I think in my book and many other`s she will always be considered " SIMPLY THE BEST"
