Rating: Summary: Live Marley......are you kidding me Review: Look I don't do reviews, but this DVD is amazing. There are so few opportunites to get high quality live Marley, and this is one of them. (also check out the new Live at the Roxy-CD, excellent also, same Roxy concert is on the new remastered Rastaman Vibration album) This is not only a must for Marley fans but a must for anyone that appreciates great music. I'm not going to sit here and rip it for it's surround sound, those that want to are movie watchers that don't get the fact that live music wasn't intended for such, play it through two channel stereo and crank it. If any of you have dreamed what it was like to be at a Bob show but were too young, or just didn't get a chance, well this is it. Set list is great, audio is excellent and the video quality is quite remarkable since it was a live show filmed in 79. One will not be dissapointed with this DVD, worth every penny......people this is Bob Marley live! And to hear Bob like this is an out of this world experience. I have many audio cd's and music dvd's and this dvd has to be my favorite piece of live audio, ok maybe Talkin Heads stop making sense (DVD) is up there. Bob, while i was to young to see you, thanks for reaching me anyway. This music will last the generations. This DVD will hopefully open more people's ears to how great Bob Marley and his music really was. There are some extras, I haven't got to them, they sound like the may be worthwhile, but the concert itself is all I need.
Rating: Summary: Wailing from begin to end Review: Never thought that I ever would see a Bob marley concert in my life, but this DVD made me cry ! For every fan of Bob this DVD is a 'must have'. I'm not sure if there are any other concerts of Bob Marley on DVD but for now this is the best DVD in my complete collection.
Rating: Summary: The Best! Review: This DVD is clearly better than the "Legend--Best of Bob & Wailers" DVD. I bought them both. Both are nice to have, but the first choice is clearly this one. The playlist reads like a best hits list and the outdoor setting adds to the ambience. The sound and picture are about perfect and superior to the Legend DVD, at least on some tracks. It is a bit sad to see Bob looking thin and to hear strain in his voice from time to time (it's a 47-concert tour in 49 days!) but the music is still utterly fantastic. Maybe the best music DVD of all time. If you love Bob and reggae and Jamaica, check out the nonprofit documentary "Life and Debt" DVD (see my review) to learn how US-dominated economics has destroyed the JA agriculture industry and subjected hard-working Jamaicans to free-trade-zone slave-labor conditions. It's a truly horrendous situation that will continue until we Americans GET UP STAND UP and pressure our leaders to stop the economic enslavement of Third World nations.

Rating: Summary: Incredible Show Review: This is a great live performance that was well filmed and remastered. I highly recommend it for any Bob Marley fan. If you have never heard or seen a Bob Marley concert, you are missing out and this would be an excellent place to start. Bob Marley is one of the greatest musicians ever and one of the best live performers ever (in my opinion) and this concert is proof of that. Bob lives on in "The Legend Live". Additionally, it not only includes the 20 tracks that another reviewer wrote about but it also includes a 21st track "War/No More Trouble". Also, it includes a 51-minute documentary on Bob (primarily an interview with Bob) and another extra with great fan commentary about Bob and his message and music.
Rating: Summary: Please release the 'LIVE AT THE RAINBOW' 1977 show!! Review: This is great but I still much prefer the exodus tour show they filmed in 1977. Also, they filmed a full concert for Old Grey Whistle Test in 1973 when Peter Tosh was still with the band! That would be the holy grail for Marley fans if they'd remaster that and release it!!
