Summary: Just one of Andre's many best
Review: ... This concert, which was filmed at the Royal Albert Hall in London, is incredible; but of course we've come to expect nothing less from Andre Rieu. As usual his interaction with the audience and comical antics are what "make" his concerts so special. This DVD has something for everyone and the excitement generated by the audience is contagious. Although the sound quality did not appear to be the best, (compared with others that I have), the DVD is well worth the purchase and will reward viewers with many repeated hours of sheer listening and viewing enjoyment.

Summary: listing of selections for this DVD is incorrect
Review: Although I enjoyed the DVD, I discovered that Amazons' listing of the songs on this DVD are in error. None of the selections listed are correct. Therefore, I was disappointed, as I did not get what I thought I was ordering.

Summary: Another Musical Party
Review: Andre Rieu & the JSO invite us to the party again. Live at Royal Albert Hall gives us Rieu at his best. Great Music with Great Fun. Dancing in the isles by all ages. This CD combines Waltzes with the Big Band Sound. Listen to an old time marching band as Andre & the JSO play The Stars & Stripes, something he added to his performances as a nod to the 'Lost Heroes', "They Came To Save Us" the Americans.

Andre and the JSO are a must see and must hear. This is once again Heaven's Music on Earth.

sally@andrerieufans.com I recommend this CD for every collection.

Summary: Near perfection
Review: I had previously seen and purchased the Live in Dublin DVD, and was looking to expand my "collection". Some of the comments posted here made me think twice about this selection, especially regarding the video quality.
Eventhough the video is not the best, I found the program to be excellent, and in fact watched it 3 times when I first got it! The poor video quality and constant angle changes mentioned by other reviewers was not really a detriment in my opinion, because the program is otherwise very enjoyable. The extended encores are especially enjoyable, where the orchestra diverts from classical music to popular songs from around the globe, and has the crowd literally dancing in the aisles.
The track listing on the Amazon.com website is definitely incorrect, so look elsewhere to find out the contents. However, my bottom line is DON'T pass up this DVD because of the minor negative comments, because they're not that big of a deal, and the program is so fun and rewarding to watch, over and over.

Summary: Concert is great, the DVD video is of poor quality
Review: I loved the concert, what little of it was on the DVD, which is a short coming of Rieu DVDs. But the video contained a great deal of glare and was hard to watch at times. I have determined that the problem is in the DVD. I noticed when viewing other Rieu DVDs that show samples from the Albert Hall concert that the color quality is poor.

One of the characteristics that I have liked about Rieu's concerts is that there is a wide selection of music so that each DVD presents different music. Not so in this DVD. Many of the selections are repeats of the music from "Dreaming." The interesting thing is when the same pieces were played in "Dreaming" they were dull and poorly played. Yet in this video they are lively and well played and interesting. I must say that there were two pieces on this DVD that I found uninteresting and thank gosh I could just fast forward over them.

Again the problem with Rieu DVDs is that only half the concerts are included. Maybe that is because the rest of the concert was boring and for that reason was not included. But I enjoyed most of what was included.
