Review: I was 18 when this Guys were playing these songs, I am writing this review because i was Impressed with the Visual and Sound Quality of the videos. If you are a PSB fan and like their videos this is the best you can get.
I have many DVD's at home but this one always stays in rack #1 on my DVD player.

Summary: Putting a Visual With The Music
Review: I was really happy AMAZON had this DVD because no store in my so called town had it in stock. If you are a Pet Shop Boys fan this DVD is a must have and worth the price tag. You get almost all of the groups videos. The DVD includes over 40 cuts. The Pet Shops Boys music is dancy, techno type of music almost, but in the videos Neil and Chris don't really dance--they just have a presence. Some of the videos are a little strange, like "It's Alright." I have never seen a lot of these videos because most of them weren't aired in the states often. As a Pet Shop Boys fan finally being able to put an image with the song was somewhat satisfying, I am glad I bought this DVD and if you like PSB you will be glad to buy it too.

Summary: Hard to fault PSB, but still
Review: I've been a PSB fan since West End Girls, so I've been thru thick and thin with them. They are one of my favourite groups, and always will be. All in all, this is a treat. Every video they ever made, right here in remastered quality.

As another reviewer said, PSB never made great videos. I agree. They must be one of the more stingy outfits around, because their music does sell well (especially in the UK). So they definitely had the money to invest. Sadly, they did not for the majority of these videos. Low budget is the word here.

Videos like "Left to My Own Devices" and "Before" (an excellent song) are just pointless. They are so low budget and uninspired as to make them completely irrelevant. All the directors are listed in the booklet, but I think PSB had most of the input on their videos. So many of them look similar, and ALL the videos from "Very" (1993) look almost exactly alike. PSB were making computerized videos seven or eight years after everyone else realized it was cheesy. Also, there are at least four or five videos of random clips of random people doing random things -- which have nothing to do with PSB. That got irritating.

In addition, I found the commentary a little disappointing. I was hoping to hear more about the technical details of each video instead of them giggling at each other the entire time. Granted, they are funny and pleasant, but it seemed more like just hanging out and watching videos than real commentary.

Anyway, it's an interesting DVD, full of cool stuff (if you get can get thru the boring parts), and I'm glad I have it. I probably won't watch it very often, but I still love PSB and this disc only adds to their rich history.

Summary: Buy it!!!
Review: If you like the group just buy this DVD. My compliments to the people involved in producing this DVD.

Unlike in many other cases here we are not left with missing important videos, lousy layout or poor quality sound & picture.

Recommended AAA+++!

Summary: Must Have for PSB Fans
Review: If you're a fan of the duo, then you don't need another reason to get this long-overdue DVD: all the songs, all the videos.

Some clarification on the product details if you're buying through Amazon as of 12/31/03:
1) This is a Canadian import.
2) There is only one DVD disk in the package.
3) This is a region-free NTSC disk (not Region 1 as stated in the above Product Details).

Picture and sound quality are excellent as everyone has mentioned. One of my best DVD purchases, ever!

Summary: Intoxicating
Review: In a word, my friends, this DVD is intoxicating! Four out of five Gnomes agree that this DVD is very retro and very fun!

On a more serious note, regular TV and cable is out - Pet Shop Boys are in! This futuristic Gnome has cancelled cable and even disconnected the antenna, and now controls the audio / visual environment!

I welcome Pet Shop Boy fans (and everyone else) to disconnect from broadcast/mass media! When you realize this simple change can improve your energy, first, go out and get "So I married an Axe Murderer'. Then enjoy the genius of Mike Myers.

Summary: Pop art is an appropriate title - WOW!
Review: In writing this review I could rave on about each video since each has its own unique imagery and style

Instead though I think it helps to view the video as a kind of journey. The Pet Shop Boys have definitely matured from commercial electro pop (admittedly very good mind) to serious musical and audiovisual artists. The way they communicate the message of their songs is nothing short of amazing. Especially notable are the reworked Go West and Paninarro where the PSBs make use of high tech digital morphing imagery. Highly effective. Another video which stands is Being Boring, a nostalgic trip back to happy times with friends, some present some absent with inferences to the sexual promiscuity pre-AIDS generation

All in all this aptly named Pop Art is a must for any PSB fan or indeed anyone serious about their music video collection

Well done guys. You never cease to amaze me with your subtle brilliance

To the readers, buy this DVD, you won't regret it I assure you:-)

PS>The DVD also represents excellent value for money with all their hits included

Summary: Best DVD videos by the PSB ever
Review: PopArt is a lovely video of the PSB. I always wanted to have a collection of all the videos. I was just about to buy Discography video. Then PopArt followed. I wish they would have included the lyrics of the songs as well or the subtitles. I'm in India and the only problem is that the Region 1 does not play in Asia. But I managed to get a play on my PC with the DVD region 1 driver. Have to try it on a DVD player. Overall a great video of the PSB. A must have for all PSB fans coz all the videos from

Summary: Bravo
Review: Sad that the ones that complain of this DVD are from the States. Yes this is "your" only chance to see the videos that made this group one of the longest Brit "pop" bands in history. But sadly it will never be available here. No label this week for the lads in the States. The videos are great, unless you prefer trash grabin' their crotch and sluts bending over. If you do, I sadly think your wishing for more. Sorry. But for the DVD, it's what any PSB fan whould hope for. The videos are what you whould expect from the Boys! Fun and interesting. My favs. include "What have I done to deserve this?"... Dusty Springfield!! Jealosy, ouch; Can you forgive her? Go West? The classic PSB only gets better with the extended mixes of Go West, So Hard, and my ultimate PSB trac "Domino Dancing'. The most erotic song from the "boys' has a x-tended mix that has the complete story. Back to the videos...."Liberation" must have won the best video somewhere on this planet. The best videos come from the "Bi-lingual" CD. Anyone that hates MTV-US, buy this DVD if you can. Fresh/fun music that is what makes the world wonder what is wrong with these states.
