Summary: A wonderful DVD, a VCR tape would have worn out by now
Review: Before purchasing La Luna I had not heard of Sarah Brightman. I had read fellow Amazon reviews and wanted to give it a try. She has a mystical voice and a presence about here that is amazing. I am her newest fan!!!!

Summary: American fan in Japan
Review: I have been a fan of Ms. Brightman since she was in Phantom of the Opera. As great as she was in that...... this DVD shows off how talented she is. When she sings Nessun Dorma, goose bumps cover my entire body. How long can she hold that last note (and perfectly!)? WOW. This will be a very welcome part of your DVD collection.

Summary: A Pleasure to Watch
Review: It's so wonderful to see someone put forth such a show that centers around a woman with a classical voice!

No, she doesn't lip-synch. If you watch carefully, the breaths match perfectly. She just has spectacular breathing control (who wouldn't with that degree of classical training in voice?) and is able to maintain her composures. Yes, even with her previous Eden concert, if you watch her breathing, you notice her shoulders even precisely with each breath.

You have to like Sarah and enjoy her music to appreciate this concert. It's a very thematic concert. She draws you into her imagination. This concert is beyond a doubt a fine presentation from who I would say is the greatest voice in the recording industry.

About the DVD vs. VHS debate on this concert, I purchased both because the VHS came out a month or two before the DVD was released. I very much disliked the VHS. There was no flow to the concert, and it was just very weird how costume changes came about and how songs lead up to each other (since quite a few songs are left out on the VHS version). When I bought the DVD, however, everything made sense and the concert flowed beautifully. Since she's such a thematic artist, every costume and design has it's purpose. To really enjoy the flow and thematic journey, you really have to watch it from the real beginning and end, and that's what the DVD offers.

Summary: Spellbinding
Review: What can't this girl do? Her graceful movements - even while suspended in the air - while singing in perfect pitch is simply amazing. This DVD blows the album away - I felt the album was overproduced and the orchestra tended to drown Sarah out at times. Not so in this DVD - perhaps being able to see her made a difference. In any case, buy it. You'll like it.

Summary: Beautiful...Stunning...Enchanting...AND MORE
Review: I can't even describe how much I love Sarah Brightman. Her music soothes the soul and warms the heart. This DVD takes some of her best works and brings them to the next level. Visually stunning and it sounds terrific.
If you are a Sarah fan and you don't have this, SHAME ON YOU!!

Summary: Sarah Brightmans voice is Heaven!
Review: In this Age of Britney, Madonna and Jennifer it is quite refreshing to have Sarah with us. This woman's voice, style, concert presentations and dedication to her craft should teach some of these 'no talents' what real raw talent is!

Summary: A MUST HAVE!!!
Review: Having also purchased the VHS to this, the DVD is by far the better deal! I am amazed--over 90 minutes of all kinds of backstage footage and interviews! You really see the kind of down-to-earth, easily pleased person Sarah is. There is nothing you miss here, the entire concert, bonus music video for whiter shade of pale, tons and tons of rehearsal, photoshotos, and interviews, all narrated by Sarah herself. If you like Sarah Brightman and want to get to the know the star behind the performance-there is nothing out there better than this!

Summary: COULDNT HAVE BEEN BETTER!
Review: I seen Sarah Brightman in 2000 for her La Luna tour although she only puts on a 90 minute show its definitly worth paying the money to see her live. I think she is even better live than she is on video/cd, she makes her performance seem as your up there too. like when she plays my heart will go on in itallian
she has a set with a boat and a starry backround, making it seem as though shes on the Titanic herself. she also plays capt nemo with a blue canvas like cover and shes on the high wires making it seem as though shes swimming. Im telling you, you have to see this woman in concert its worth the money to see her, believe me.
