Summary: Good video/sound quality.
Review: When I purchased THE DANCE I was expecting to see a regular concert, of them just singing their major hits. I didn't get what I expected. Yes, Fleetwood Mac played their greatest hits like "Go your Own way", and "Don't Stop", but they also had new songs, never before heard. The two new ones by Stevie will enchant you, "Silver Springs" is hanuting and is very easy to like (you don't have to listen to "Silver Springs" several times to start to enjoy it). "Sweet Girl" was the other new song that Stevie sang, I took it as almost an autobiograpical song about her as a singer. Lindsay Buckingham's voice has become more deep than it once was, but the songs are still just as classic as before, be sure to check out his 4 minute guitar solo in "I'm So Afraid". Christine Perfect (or Mcvie) has no change whatsoever in her voice, she sounds exactly as she did 25 years ago when they recorded RUMOURS. But it was said that Christine HATED touring for the album, and was exhausted, you can sometimes see that in her facial expressions. Mick Fleetwood seems the most exited of them all, he's always smiling when the camara zooms into his face. I cannot wait until they go on tour agian!

Summary: Good, but could've been better
Review: I was disappointed. I love Fleetwood Mac.....but they sounded pretty rusty together. After seeing the Eagles "Hell Freezes Over" concert, I expected a more "polished" concert from Fleetwood Mac.

IF you are a Fleetwood Mac fan, you'll enjoy the songs. But they aren't flawless in their performance.

The video and sound quality of this dvd are very good. Camera shots are excellent. Don't get me wrong, it's not a total bust. It's one I wouldn't watch over and over again though.

Mick Fleetwood on drums is fun to watch, he's so animated in his facial expressions.

Summary: Excellent DVD!
Review: This is truely an excellent DVD! Lindsey Buckingham sings great solos as well as Chritie Mcvie. Stevie Nicks sings top notch - It just seems to me like Fleetwood Mac has actually gotton better. The dvd gives you a real concert feel in 5.1 sound. The Screen shots couldn't be better set on stage , they added a few female vocalists in background to give it that little extra, not overdoing it and giving it the midas touch. The instruments - guitars -( very good guitar work) drums , keyboard - all a great sound. If you are a fleetwood fan this is a must!!! I hope they come out with a newer one soon since its been awhile - 1997 - (and still an awsome recording!) I hope they don't wait too long if they do decide to get together again or Maybee just Stevie Nicks and one from the band would be nice. If they wait too long I'm afraid of Stevie's voice going with age, as she gets older and not sounding as strong and vibrant as she still is.

Summary: AWESOME!
Review: I've always been somewhat of a fan of Fleetwood Mac,especially Stevie Nicks. While watching this DVD I was truly inspired by them. Why didn't I ever go see them in person? They were just awesome the way they performed together on this stage. Mick is still an animal on the drums. Lindsey can hold his own too. And Stevie...well need I say more. Her performance with Gold Dust Woman brought a tear to my eye. The encore of this concert is un-believable...worth getting the DVD just for the last 3 songs.

Summary: Great DVD!
Review: This is my first music video DVD, and I love it! Fleetwood Mac has always had an intensity, and it's really just captured perfectly here on DVD. I have The Dance on CD and VHS and in my opinion it doesnt compare to the DVD. I noticed during the ending of "Gypsy" (which was an incredible performance) Lindsey's guitar playing was very much more prominant. You can really hear the individual musical sounds of each instrument here, and the vocals are much better, someone mentioned them not ben n sync with the picture, thats not the case on the DVD i have, definetely worth your money! I love Stevie, and Fleetwood Mac and this captures them in their finest.

Summary: Excellent Sound
Review: The production is unbelieveable for a group that has not really played together much lately. Lindsey Buckingham gives it his all. He is a tremendous talent but all the members make a good contribution to the DVD. It is one to have. Like a lotof music DVD's, the music is slightly out of sync with the video, i.e. the mouths move and a split second later you hear singing. Guitar riffs are just a little uncoordinated with their sound.
Same issue on Steely Dan's Two Against Nature. Sound and performance on both is stellar.

Summary: Simply the best concert ever!
Review: My mom introduced me to Fleetwood Mac when this reunion concert came out in 97. I am 14 now and I must say this is the best concert I have ever seen! Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham are incredible. From the first moment on when you hear the beginning of the AWESOME opener "The Chain" you know this concert is gonna be great. I love Gold Dust Woman on here, I can't believe they didn't put it on the cd! Silver Springs, Rhiannon, and Landslide are other high points for our beloved Stevie, while Go Insane and Big Love are 2 songs Lindsey is incredible on. Buy this DVD, you wont be disappointed. Fleetwood Mac rules!

Summary: exelent!!!
Review: This dvd was exelent I dont know how people come up with the idea of it being over produced and too much back ground people. some people need to just get a life!! Some of the highlights were Lindsey Buckingham's Go Your Own Way, My Little Demond, Tusk. I did not like this version of Big Love i hated go insane and Bleed to love her. all of stevie's songs especally Gold Dust Woman and Silver Springs. I was very disapointed when Stand Back was not encluded. that is A Stevie Solo song Fleetwood mac plays my mom alway regreted going to the Dance concert but they did not play any were near us because of Mcvie was "Tiered!!" I've seen Stevie live 3 times in '94 (i was only 7)'98, and 2001 Trouble In Shangri-la and stand back was exelent. I love this song live and for some reason her voice sonds better and stronger in her 2001 tour. Stevie is a great performer she has so much energy on stage unlike Christen Mcvie who is boring on stage. but her songs were all pretty good i loved Over My Head her voice has not changed a bit. Jhon Mcvie is Very boring also. I don't like him much. And i did not see his lips move once when he was singing in You MakeLoving Fun. Mick Fleetwood is very funny and intertaning he puts on a great show. but over all this was a great DVD. I suggest it to Any Fleetwood Mac/Stvie fan. i also suggest Stevie Nicks live in Red Rocks Its just as good.

Summary: the fleetwood mac orchestra
Review: If you've forgotten about the magic these five hyper-talented musicians are capable of on stage, then spend a few minutes watching "I'm So Afraid", "Silver Springs", and "Gold Dust Woman". Nicks may have lost her upper register, but she traded it in for one of the most powerful rock and roll voices we've heard since Janis Joplin. Buckingham's guitar work is masterful and along with Nicks he still manages to bring chills and smiles to fans around the world. Christine McVie is as usual, a little boring when it comes to stage presence but she wrote some wonderful songs over the years - so it's nice to watch her on stage with the rest of Fleetwood Mac. Now if they would only lose the back up musicians and singers, we'd have the old band back playing at the peak of their carreers.

Summary: You will love this
Review: This DVD is almost as much fun as a live concert. Fleetwood Mac at it's best !!I played it over and over again. The performances by all the artist are great. This may be an aging band but this DVD proves that they can still put out nonstop entertainment and have fun doing it. Wow !! Five stars plus.
