Summary: A must have for anyone who truly loves the Mac!!!!
Review: I am only 14, but I have developed a love and pure admiration for Fleetwood Mac. This video rocks!!! The first time I watched it I was jumping, singing, and dancing 2 minutes into the first song!!! If you are thinking that having the CD is enough, you are wrong. The video has 5 songs that I can recall that are not on the CD. I think that it is worth it just to see Stevie sing Gold Dust Woman!!! I LOVE this video!!!!! Everybody and their dog should have one!!!!!

Summary: Best in class
Review: The band is still tight. The video crystal clear and the dolby digital sound a big WOW! An almost perfect DVD. The first few songs don't show off the capabilities of DVD all that much but keep listening. As the concert progresses, it appears that the 5.1 audio gets stronger and stronger. A great DVD to show off to your friends still in surround sound mode, or even worse, stereo.

Summary: Absolutely great!!!
Review: I was not a big fan of Fleetwood Mac back in the 80's, but watching this video has made me one. I caught a part of the concert on a PBS station, went and bought the DVD and have watched it at least once a week since. It seemed to me that all of the members of the band were having a lot of fun just being back together as well as entertaining the audience. My favorite, of course, is Stevie Nicks, but Mick, Christine, John and Lindsay were all great. I have since bought a number of their CDs and am wondering how I missed out on their music for all these years. Anyone who liked this DVD would also be interested in the VHS tape detailing the making of the "Rumours" album.

I hope to see more Fleetwood Mac concerts on video.

Summary: Superb
Review: Any music fan would love to see and hear this video. Lindsay has matured musically and his solo performance with the acoustic guitar is spine shivering! Stevie and Christine sing the same as always. "Tusk" is joined in by the USC Marching band and the performance is breathtaking and hyper. Buy the video, you won't regret it!

Summary: Excellent! Editing, lighting & sound are superior quality!
Review: The Dance is a must have for any Fleetwood Mac and/or Stevie Nicks fan. The old songs come back to life with a modern edge. Stevie's voice is in fine form. Silver Springs is the highlight for her. Lindsey's guitar playing is unsurpassed, Big Love offers fans a bonus. Performing complete with the UCLA marching band for Tusk, this presentation is very professional looking in terms of sound, lighting and video editing! You won't want to miss a minute.

Summary: The Mac is timeless and all performers are truly "artists".
Review: I have personally appreciated the Mac for their great music, and after viewing this video, I am amazed at their beauty as well as their performance. Stevie and Christine are lovely, and the men are handsome as well. When Stevie pauses and kisses Linday, the house was on their feet applauding. And the artisans on their keyboard, strings, and percussions had me enthralled. USC band joins for 2 songs and wow, what a blast that was. I say "buy it"!

Summary: The Dance - A nostalgic bobsled ride and reunion concert
Review: Fleetwood Mac - The Dance Reviewed by David Shattuck

"The Dance" is a nostalgic bobsled ride into a great rock and roll reunion concert from two decades past filmed at Warner brothers studios in Burbank California in front of a very live concert audience. It is well worth it for your spirit to spend the 106 minutes of life required to experience it. The concert starts from a stage resembling an alien mothership which has just landed. Mick Fleetwood revs you up from the start with his facial machinations. The man is really into his work and resembles that mad scientist from "Back to the Future". The video features the multi talented Lindsey Buckingham on various guitars as you ride every wave of blues agony and shouts that he can utter. Of course there is Stevie Nicks with her unique voice reminding you of a softer Janice Joplin. Throughout the video you feel like you are at a live concert and it flows well. Christine McVie is a nice soprano compliment to Stevie and John McVie plays a steady bass guitar which seems to be his major role. Now seems like a good time to unload some observations form the many numbers featured on the video: Christine performs her unique British rhythm in "Everywhere" while Stevie plays the tambourine sauntering across the stage. Many of the tunes feature themes of love and struggles of life. Stevie delivers her signature alto blues voice in "Gold Dust Woman" and angelically harmonizes with Christine and Lindsey. "I'm so afraid" features Lindsey in some powerful hard rock guitar runs and voice solos. You can feel his anguish and literally see the sweat dripping down his face from those sizzling stage lights. He reminds me of a slightly milder Jimmy Hendrix but plays the electric guitar as if it where an extension of his tormented soul to a standing ovation. Fleetwood Mac even plays a few new tunes (at least to me). Christine is featured in "Temporary One" and Lindsey plays a 12 string acoustic guitar in "Bleed to Love Her". "Sweet Girl" is yet another good new work. Stevie captures time with "Gypsy" and if you close your eyes you become magically transported back to the 70s. "Big Love" features a spotlight solo by Lindsey on acoustic guitar. It is a hard driving blues rock number that rips through your soul and carries you down a white water journey on the river called agony. He follows with a soft blues ballad called "Go Insane" which is about all that's left to do after that river run! Stevie dedicates "Landslide" to her Daddy which is a beautiful poetic number and reminds you of something that should be played at a graduation, wedding, or some other significant social event of one's life. During this song there is plenty of eye and soul contact between Stevie and Lindsey which culminates in a meaningful and long hug, embrace, and kiss between the two. (Still waters still run deep). It was a rare sight indeed to see these professionals raptured in the passion of the moment. There was a moment of humor when Christine states "My ex-husband actually sings" in "Say you love me" to which John replies "If only mummy could see me now". She continues as the lead in "You make loving fun" and scales the "Do you believe in miracles" heights as only she could do. A song called "My little demon" did nothing for me and is simply filler rock. The chorus has a line "I really don't like it" which turns out to be a prophetic statement. "Over my head" is another Christine lead ballad that just makes you "sure feel nice" and leads into the classic "Rhiannon", a love yearning ballad by Stevie loaded full of poetic similes and metaphors. The highest energy on the video is achieved in "Tusk" where Fleetwood Mac is joined on stage by the USC marching band for a grand finale as the mothership turns into a brilliant white glow as if ready for blast off. "The Dance' is appropriately named for that is exactly what your body wants to do during and after experiencing it.
