Fleetwood Mac - The Dance

Summary: A one-nighter that will never be matched....
Review: I have seen Fleetwood Mac& Stevie (solo) in concert a total of four times in the past few years and the video(s) I have purchased throughout the years (of both) are great for refreshing my memory as to the beauty of their harmonies. The Dance has got to be the best video of any group ever! Being a FM fan since the addition of Stevie and Lindsey,'75, I regret that there are not more videos out of FM/SN concerts. If the truth be told however, I think "The Dance" was a commercial warm up to the whirlwind tour of the Enchanted tour of Nicks. I don't buy Christine's reason of being "tired" on the last leg of the tour. The whole band revolves around Miss Stevie, as it probably should and is painfully apparent on more than one of their videos. Speaking of videos...where is the "Enchanted" video? Stevie at her best! Feel free to E me if you are a big fan as I am.

Summary: The worst sounding DVD I have ever heard
Review: I have over 50 DVD's in my collection and I can say with no hesitation this is the worst sounding DVD I have ever heard. I feel the sound is very flat and has no detail. I compared the sound to my Fleetwood Mac Rumours CD, and the sound on the DVD doesn't even compare. If you want to see the band in concert but don't care if the sound recording is of poor quality buy the DVD. If you want to hear a high quality recording on DVD try James Taylor Live or The Eagles Hell Freezes Over on DTS. I know that I am in the minority after reading some of the other reviews here so maybe I got a poorly recorded version.

Summary: Excellent! One of the best concerts I've seen in a long time
Review: If you are a fan of Fleetwood Mac and have followed the love affair of Stevie and Lindsey, you will be touched by this concert. This concert will keep you glued to the screen, you can see and feel the happiness and sorrow in their voices and body language of all the memories this group has together. You feel as if Stevie and Lindsey are still not over each other, the way they sing to each other especially in the song "Silver Springs". Very emotional!!!! This DVD is definitely one you must own!!!!

Review: Absolute must-have! If you know the history, the conflicts and tragedies of this band, this concert takes on more meaning than any before it. The energy and interaction between all five members just pulls you onto the stage with them. The Mac dishes up the comfort food of the past and offers 4 new tunes to make you think in the now. They all sound wonderful-every single one of them. As always, Stevie was absolutely fabulous!! Her voice is still unbelievable! She is unlike anyone before, or since. Lindsey and Mick are powerful and Christine has grown even better with the years. John exhibits his talent excellently. You can't watch this and not notice the spark between Stevie and Lindsey. It's STILL there, but somehow wiser. Knowing what brought them to this point makes it all the sweeter. I cannot say enough about this video. Fantastic!!!!!

Review: This is a totally amazing DVD. I first got introduced to FM's music way back in my second year of national service when I heard their 'Rumours' album on good old vinyl. This album was a rave at that time. About 5 years ago I bought their Rumours album on CD which rendered great sound considering that it was a transfer from the original analogue recording. I was absolutely dazzled when I popped this DVD into my system. Being recorded with modern equipment with a more mature Fleetwood Mac was something to behold. The PCM side renders a powerful and tight performance while the DD 5.1 side is as good as being there even though you have to crank the volume up higher due to the dynamic range of the format. This DVD has been carefully compiled and pieced together. If you want to attend a live concert, don't buy tickets and travel to a venue; just buy the DVD,sit back on your sofa and enjoy the ride.

Review: My desire to go to a MAC concert has been partially met by this great melodic video overlaid with Buckingham rage and intensity I admire and respect !!!!!!! He really gets into IT and I feared for his life at one point...what a dedicated craftsman !!!Good of Mick to lrt him ROCK ON !!! Stevie's sweet lament to Lindsey in Siver Spring is soulful and his expressions and timing with his great looking body show off his real well balanced talent !!! Happiness shows now as he has a true love and baby boy and his life is in balance and a new Cycle has begun for a dedicated awesome musician who deserves some tranquility !!! Warner brothers said to send mail for my hero to them but he doesn't get it I'll bet !!!Can you all help me out as Iam an amateur at this and just got my computer as a b-Day gift from my kids !!! Iam a late bloomer I guess but my boyfriend took me to Cleveland to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame but hardly and display of Lindsay, NO posters with his picture but we were able to buy his three cassetts.
