Summary: Bang Your Head!!!!
Review: 20 years ago, a band called Quiet Riot released an album called Metal Health. The album went to #1 and became the first heavy metal album to reach that far. This DVD is a live performance of the band around 2002. This has great songs such as "Cum On Feel The Noize", "Bang Your Head(Metal Health)", and "Mama Weer All Crazy Now". The DVD also comes with an audio cd. The special features are great! This is DVd is a treat for all Quiet Riot fans!!!

Warning!!!: This DVD has some bad lanuage from lead singer, Kevin DuBrow. Like he sings in "Bang Your Head", he's got a mouth like an allagator!

Summary: Solid Dvd for the fans
Review: After much waiting and being pushed back several times the Quiet Riot dvd was finally released. Overall any fans of the band will enjoy this DVD along side the live CD included. I would have preferred a few more songs added to the setlist and in the bonus features it would have been nice to have all their videos included and brand new interviews with the band.

Any fan of Quiet Riot or just good solid hard rock n roll will enjoy this Dvd. Like him or hate him Kevin has an unquie voice and the rest, Rudy, Carlos and Frankie are as always top notch muscians who clearly enjoy what there doing.

Very sad they decided to break up right before this dvd was released, however this will give the fans something to watch for years to come.

Summary: Greatness.......
Review: Capturing the musical prowess of Rudy Sarzo...one of the truly great rock bassplayers of all time...will make this WELL worth the few dollars spent. His history as a musician is one of integrity and influence, especially to all of the bassplayers in the world that he has inspired...and they are many. A "musician's musician"...Sarzo continues to lead by example, for he is the complete package musically that most others can only aspire to. I'm a fan of Quiet Riot. But first and foremost, I am a fan of Rudy Sarzo. There are many world class bassplayers out there...but only ONE Rudy Sarzo. This DVD will testify to that.

Review: Don't let the naysayers sway you from checking this DVD out. The gripes are unfounded. Kevin's hair is fake? OH MY GOD HOW CAN I ENJOY THE PERFORMANCE?! NEXT YOU'LL TELL ME THAT ALICE COOPER HASN'T REALLY KILLED HIMSELF ON STAGE ALL THOSE TIMES! Kevin has a tan!? GOD SAVE US! How could music made by people with tattoos or tans be entertaining?! And then there are the folks have "grown" and "evolved" past good time rock and roll. If you are a fan of the band and don't have hang ups about tans, tatts, hair, and can still enjoy fun rock that you loved when you were younger- check this DVD out! Put it on, kick back, and rock!

Summary: I DO Love you guys...but...
Review: First of all, I want to say that I love Quiet Riot, have bought ALL of their albums and was truly disappointed when I recently found out that they parted ways after over 20 years. I always felt that QR deserved much more than they got credit, but I gotta say, I'm a little disappointed with this DVD. I've seen QR several times (unfortunately not during their heyday). This takes me back to the 3 or so times I've seen them in clubs since '92 or so....and that's not necessarily a good thing...! I love Carlos and think he's a vastly under-rated player...but the tone....man..!..it's just WAY too over-processed..in fact,...I can't even hear any guitar...TONE... on this DVD...just a severely overdriven guitar GRIND. Rudy's bass is buried in the mix, which is unfortunate, 'cause he truly is one of the best bass players in rock. Kevin prods the audience on a couple of occassions to participate more; which I find a little sad...if a crowd loves the band, they DON'T NEED any prodding...(witness RUSH in RIO DVD...absolutely RABID fans with ZERO prodding!!!)The Randy Rhoads stuff on here is interesting to watch and AGAIN...I'm a huge Randy fan too,...met his mom...(an amazing, wonderful lady!!!)...but..dang!...some things are better left to memory. The QR material was weak; a statement oft echoed by Mrs. Rhoads herself and even Randy. Some Randy/Ozzy footage would be great, but this isn't an Ozzy DVD, is it?....
On the positive side...this IS a nice package...nice menus/presentation; I enjoyed the QR slide show the most, set to "Blast from the Past" from the "Guilty Pleasures" album. I've heard that Carlos is working on material with vocalist Oni Logan...I hope he does well;...love the guy and think he's a great talent...let's hope he varies his tone abit and gets some "brown" ...some fullness...in his sound. Overall, I don't regret buying this, but just feel that my tastes have evolved, while QR never did...! But I always kept hoping...! A must for Hardcore QR fans, but if you've grown up musically, you may be a little disappointed.

First of all, Frankie Banali (Incredible Drummer)plays at the best as he can, Carlos plays like Randy Rhoads, Rudy it's one of the best bassers in all the planet and the king DuBrow sings the most powerfull as he can.

Buy It Now, it's a collector's item.

Summary: Who Do You Think You Are?
Review: I am a huge Quiet Riot fan and I am offended by the remarks that were said by someone who calls himself, "minister" . I grew up with this bands music, I have seen them perform, and had the privilage to meet all of them; therefore, I feel that I am more than qualified to review this band. Minister, qualifications please ..... didn't think so. Anyhow, I remember when I first saw this band perform. Black and white stripes was all this band needed for a stage backround. Looking at that still mask on the front of the drum was the last thing I remembered before the stage faded into black. Suddenly, the stage lights came on to three members playing a little song called, "Sign of The Times". Kevin DuBrow was singing into a mic that was not working. The music stops and after a road crew member hands Kevin another mic, Kevin looks at him and says, "You better take that back to Radio Shack." After that, the band went to work and played with nothing but heart. Frankie Banali, the drummer, pointed at me and started laughing. He knew I was loving it. That night, Quiet Riot had the crowd standing and cheering for more, and the concert was so good, I felt like I was in a video. After their last song, Frankie got up from his drums, walked right to me, and handed me one of his drumsticks. I was in awe, and just when I thought it was over, that band came out and took the time to sign autographs to all of their fans. After reading this, you may be asking why would I be so bold to give a DVD, that has not yet been released, 5 stars and how does this review help you? If so, my reply to you is this... I have witnessed a concert in which four amazing artists had put all of their hearts into their music. Now, one of their concerts will be out on DVD. There you go........

Summary: Quiet Riot lives!
Review: I'm thrilled to have this music DVD to add to my collection. I've been a fan of QR since the Randy Rhodes days and everything on this DVD brings back memories from the beginning as well as to the present.

I was even surprised to see myself (at age 16) in one of the audience shots during the "Pickin' up the Pieces", video from 1979.

These boys and their music have been a part of me most of my life and I am forever grateful. If you want to have a piece of music history, this DVD is a must. I know I will be watching for years to come. Bang your head!

Summary: Same old same old
Review: Kevin Dubrow and Frankie Banali worked hard and hung in there to eventually produce what is now known as Quiet Riot. With the birth of MTV the band's Metal Health record shot to the top. It was a short lived fame because as the truth be known the band was not full of depth or talent. Yes, they worked hard but once at the top they did not have the ability to sustain it.

Kevin and Frankie strike me as spoiled from the fame they briefly tasted. Carlos and Rudy are more down to earth. But whatever they may be their time in the spotlight has passed and now they are increasingly viewed as a fading footnote in the history of rock n roll.
