Review: Madonna has a very wicked and dirty sense of humour! I laughed at most of the things she said in this documentry of comedy and laugher! Also, now you could easily see why Madonna's shows are theatrical and why Madonna is a great actress! END

Summary: Very, very funny!
Review: Oh! You can never get enough of Madonna! After seening this amazing movie, even the person who hates her will admit that Madonna is the only woman to be called the Queen Of Pop (and contraversy). She reveales EVERYTHING in this movie! She's rude, funny, caring, mothering, loving, bitchy, and very very entertaining! If you are a fan, you NEED this movie in your video collection, if you hate her, well---after seening this masterpiece, you'll wonder why! END

Summary: For Madonna's fans only
Review: Madonna's controversive career and publicity mounted at a top point in early nineties following her video release of #1 single LIKE A PRAYER, her appearance in Warren Beaty's blockbuster DICK TRACY, the year 1990's sold-out BLONDE AMBITION world tour, and the subsequently unapologetic music video from self-title studio LP EROTICA. However, to date, no official video remastering has been worked on the VHS of BLONDE AMBITION tour. TRUTH OR DARE is the best recap of Madonna's best onstage performances, rehearsing, and period life spent offstage during the promotion of her multi-million dollars tour across Europe, American, and - Japan!

This documentary captures all the tell-truth interviews and self-reflections of the superstar as much as the roles of the people and her family who were there with her touring at some point. There is a scene where she shrugged off Canada's banning of her lewd concert act and way passed the officials with her background singers Niki Haris and Donna DeLory. There are plenty of laughters, celebrations, and tears too. She also visited Antonio Banderas and the Spanish film giant Pedro Almodóvar when the tour stopped by Madrid. As a matter of fan's interest, the behind-the-scene film also reveals the unusual closeness between Madonna and her seven queer dancers who invented the "House Of Extravagenza" dance culture for her #1 world-frenzy hit VOGUE.

I only hope there could be more recaps of her performaces in Japan especially, when her long blonde ponytail were once making a wave!

TRUTH OR DARE is Madonna's best entertaining work to offer for those who appreciate her artistic musical expressions thoughout the eighties. You'll love this DVD, do not miss it.

Summary: Awesome! - Nothing Like It !!!
Review: At a time where Madonna was at the top, I thought it was very courageous of her to let you into her personal life even if it was such a "high life" a lot of us cannot understand what that must feel like but after seeing this my whole attidude towards the lady changed! It show's how a female star at the age of 32 has TOTAL control of her life not to mention a talent that far exceeds anything i've ever heard or seen! I have seen the entire concert and was left breathless at the end of it! Her opening rendition of "Express Yourself" is the best live performance I have ever seen and the song wasn't even one of my favorites! the costumes and the coriography is amazing (for its time)
The only thing I didn't get was what she was doing with Warren Beatty? Glad she got over that one quickly!
Highly recommend this.
What other artist do you know that has had the courage to do a similar thing?

Summary: Inside look at Madonna's 1990 Blond Ambition Tour
Review: If you are not a Madonna fan, this dvd will be worth just for the live performances or part of(Express Yourself, Oh Father, Like a Virgen, Promise to try, Holiday, Live to tell, Causing a commotion and Keep it together).
If you are a fan you can see Madonna close and somehow personal during her Blond Ambition tour back in 1990. At that time she was the most famous wild and single girl in the music world (now she is a very more respected artist), you can see how she prepares for each concert, all the commotion involved, how the crew becomes her family and how fame can be a prision sometimes. Film mostly in black and white is a representation of how a tour is and all the elements involved in it.

Summary: Madonna, peak perhaps?
Review: Ok, I have to be honest...I love this movie. It is beautifully shot and directed. The colors and the black and white are beautifully balanced. It is totally fun to watch. Even if you dont like the woman, the end product is very enjoyable. You have to remember, at this particular time in pop culture, the early 90's, Madonna did indeed rule. She had really come into her own as an icon and a great star. The artiface of the 80's was something I really enjoyed as a teen. But as I became an adult, it was always interesting to watch her. Ok, so maybe she really wasnt the best actress. But at that time she was the one star that was able to turn all that plastic into something really worth paying attention to. And this film showed her at her finest. Even if you didnt like her, you couldnt help but pay attention to her. Watching this movie now makes me yearn for those days. She really was the last "great star". We dont have stars like that anymore. Even Spears cant obtain that grandure. That white hot heat of celebrity. She really had it then more so then any other famous person on the planet. Of course, it has faded. Madonna now seems like King Kong. So watching this film now takes you back to a time when stars were still really "STARS". She really has become the last "Elvis, Beatles, Monroe, Dean, Taylor". And we do need that. Try to think of a star that has had that much attention in the last ten years. Julia? Gwyneth? Not one. She really is the last great star, and this film shows her at her peak. No one seems to give her that. It is at once fascinating and irritating. You want to know more, yet you feel you've seen too much. She has never been so honest and so vacuous on film before or since. It is a documentary of a modern star at her peak. It's a glimpse of the American dream. It's a peak at a life very few of us will ever see... Now, how many of those do you see every day? This is a great rock film. It is sublime. It sets the bar for every female entertainer after her. This film is Madonna at her peak, her best, her pinnacle. It is "the" Madonna film. I couldnt suggest it more...

Summary: CLEVER AND SASSY!
Review: This is a one in a lifetime documentary. Madonna's star and charisma truly flowed easily here. It's understandable why she became the icon that she is. A glimpse at her real life in the music business. TRUTH OR DARE is a outstanding work of cinematography. Worth the time and money. Totally clever talkin' and sassy moments to raise a few conservators eyebrows.
*****FIVE STARS!

Review: This is Madonna at her best. Anyone who has growen up with her music will appreciate this movie. I watch it every so often and not only does it bring back happy times, it's an excellent documentry of what it's like t be rich and very famous. Even if you don't have a liking for Madonna, I find it hard to beleive that you would not at least have a better respect for her after watching this DVD.
