Summary: Brit can ACT!
Review: The movie was pretty good, there were parts that were a little corney..but not bad. I thought all together that some of the scenese were too perfect to happen in real life, but it was good. Britney and the other characters were good actors.

Summary: What is wrong with you???
Review: Ok, I JUST got back from seeing Crossroads, and I think you and all the critics are wrong. My friend and I, along with the rest of the theater kept laughing throughout the movie. It is one of the best I've seen in a while. Perhaps they are new actors, but so what they did a good job. In fact they did their job, entertained the audience. My friend and I couldn't stop talking about the movie throughout dinner. If you think about it from a teenagers point-of-view, Crossroads is exactly what we want in a movie. I could relate to most of it. WHich is what movies should do, relate to their viewers. It was a good movie for teenagers, maybe its just not fit for adults.

Summary: Meet you at the crossroads
Review: Crossroads is your typical teeny-bopper movie, GREAT!!!! Britney really showed how she can be more than just a popstar, I loved it, I was entertained the whole time, with the singing, and all the journey's the friends went through... A wonderful movie for the teen at heart.

Summary: not appropriate for kids
Review: I took my young daughter to see this movie and was so disappointed. The numerous adult themes in this movie was inappropriate for my daughter and what was expected to turn out to be a mother-daughter bonding did not materialize. This movie was horrible and strongly encourage parents to read a careful synopsis of the movie before going. This movie raises issue like rape, alcoholism, etc. that is inappropriate for young children.

Summary: Proof that God Mocks Us
Review: Either as a sort of sick homage or an even sicker joke, early on in Crossroads, pop singer Britney Spears echoes Betty Friedan by asking "is this all?" It might be safe to surmise that Spears' mere existence would be enough to cause poor Ms. Friedan to fling herself off of a bridge - and this farce of a film proves it. Spears stars as Lucy, a nerdy, outcast, virginal class valedictorian (!) who still manages to look exactly like Spears. Since Spears apparently goes to a high school where all the males but her lab partner are homosexuals, she tries to get laid on her graduation night - but ends up with two childhood friends whom she has grown apart from, the pregnant, white-trash Mimi and the black (but not too black, oh no) socialite Kit. Somehow, the three end up with convicted murderer Ben on a road trip out west. They have a series of road-trip adventures and bond, and of course Britney want to sleep with Ben like there's no tomorrow.

If you want to know more, you'll have to look elsewhere - I walked out 50 minutes into the movie, after briefly checking my pulse to make sure I hadn't died and gone to Hell. Even so, on the way out, I looked for something high I could fling myself off of, and join Ms. Friedan and the rest of the free-thinking human race in an suicidal escape from this kind of tripe.

Summary: My friends and I went to see crossroads
Review: The acting was horrible, the singing was horrible, we just thought this movie was too long boring alot of the time, and we all agreed that glitter was better than this, a whole lot better.

Summary: Britney's movie
Review: Going into this movie, I thought it was going to be very boring, and just another stupid tennage movie. I am 12 and am really not a huge Britney fan. I thought Britney Spears was going to be bad, and that all the other actors would be just as bad. But once the movie started I was very syrprised that this movie was quite serious and that Britney Spears is actually a pretty good actress! She's not excellent, but I am impressed that she has a some talent. The other acotrs were very good also. Altogether, I thought this movie was very funny, and serious at some times, too. I would reccommend any Britney fan to go, and even if you're not a Britney fan, everyone would like something about this movie.

Summary: A MUST SEE MOVIE
Review: I saw the movie and for it I have one word CHICK FLICK!!! It was funny but mostly drama it's a good movie though. My favorite part is when she sings "I Love Rock & Roll". The movie talks about Lucy (Britney Spears) and her friends that take a road trip to find the meaning of friendship see new places but most of all have a lot of fun! Lucy wants to sing and find her mother. The movie is sort of like a drama with some comedy mixed to it. I recommend you to see it because when I saw it I didn't think it was bad. So you won't waist your time/money if you see it.

Summary: I just saw this movie and it was great
Review: The movie was a really good debut for Britney. I hardly think anyone can judge the movie based on one preview they saw. It was more about Lucy and her friends maturation after HS and less about just another road trip. The character development was great and the ending was fabulous. This is a great movie for anyone.
