Summary: RETARTED
Review: This is the worst movie I have ever seen... britney spears is the worst actress I have ever seen. It could have been a beautiful movie about great female relationships, but Britney Spears spoiled it.

Rating: 5 stars

Summary: Would have been a great movie BUT ...
Review: Come on you have to be kidding right britney b-movie girl a actress PLEASE! The only place that girl belongs is on a dog food commerical. The story line was great everyone else in the movie was great I liked it even tho my sister drag me to it. But the only thing in it I did not like was britney she totally killed the mood of the movie. I gave it 2 stars one for the guy the other for the story. And i'd give it one more if you never put britney in another movie!

Rating: 5 stars

Summary: Hm hm hm
Review: Went to see the movie here in Denmark with my daughter. Acting - was a bit on "thin ice" but if you put all the "pop" movies in to one hat (Spice Girls, Madonna, and others) pick one and you have seen them all.

Rating: 5 stars

Summary: Cross-over: from bad to good
Review: ... it's no Academy Awarding winning film and it probably won't win any awards (well, of course there's the MTV movie awards), but it still manages to be entertaining, so to say to the latest piles-of-crap that movie theaters have been showing (with an exception, big time, to "Spider-man"). Sure, Spears is no Julia Roberts, but tink about this...she does a 10-times better job than Miriah Carrey did in the god-awful "Glitter"!!! Of course, I surpirsingly found Mandy Moore's character well acted in "A walk to Remember" (which was released ironically around the same time as "Crossroads"), ...

Enter the world of Lucy (Britney Spears), a 18-year old valevictorian high school graduate, who seems to be looking for her path in life and her way. Only recently, on her graduation/prom night, she, along with fellow former friends Kit (Zoe Salanda, "Center Stage"), a stuck up and pre-madonna popular girl, and Mimi (Taryn Manning,"Crazy/Beautiful"), a tough and rugged trailer park girl, dig up a time-capsule box they buried back when they were young, promising to be friends forever. Unfortunately, times change and they separated over the years. Mimi wants to travel to California to find her boyfriend that got her 5-months pregnant, while Kit wants to become famous and Lucy just wants to find her mother that abandoned her when she was little. The 3 then hit the road, with Mimi's mysterious 4 0'clock shadowed friend, Ben (Anson Mount, "Urban Legends: Final Cut") as their guide, with his 1972 Buick Skylark convertable as their transportation. The film then starts to take off on it's plot route into territory that has been discovered before, but never in this way. From camping in the wild, to living in unsanitary motels, to Karokeing to "I Love Rock N' Roll", which is a part that is marginally enjoyable (when I mean "marginally enjoyable", I mean it would kill you to listen for at least 25 seconds. *ouch!*). Otherwise, good.

"Crossroads" is very enjoyable for the second time, even though I practically lothed it. Dan Aykroyd does somewhat of a luke-warm job as Lucy's *overprotected* father (hence the song). Kim Catrell ("Sex and the City") does a short, yet never the less, satifying job as Lucy's astanged mother, that is somewhat of the antagonist in the film. I loved Justin Long's ("Galaxy Quest", "Jeepers Creepers") character, which was un-important, but funny. Many parents, spiting the fact that many Britney fans are young, might raise a few eyebrows on the fact that there is some teen-sexuality from the film (Spears, in the first scene, is seen dancing to Madonna's "Open your heart to me" in a bra and panties, where as later, she gets a little sexual with Mount, taking off her clothes and they passionately kiss), other than the teen-pregnancy, date rape, teenage drinking and some language. Of course, it's a PG-13 movie, and to that fact, a very light PG-13 movie, compared to the movies we show today. Very goo watch, especially with friends or girl/boyfriends. Originally I gave this review 4 stars, but I gave an extra star because I'm a huge fan of Britney!!!!

Summary: movie with no plot
Review: This movie was horribly edited and directed. There is no plot and Ms. Spears attempts to steal the movie with her "acting"....this movie clearly displays that she sadly lacks that talent. The other actors are far better then Spears, which is a shame. The lead should have gone to someone with at least a little talent. Do not go to see this movie, unless your objective is to cringe and walk out about 20 minutes after the film starts...
