Summary: Inspiring and heart-warming
Review: I loved it! Even though I grew up watching Disney movies, I have to say that "Iron Will" is one of the best movies ever made! (You don't usually hear that from a normal 15-year-old.) But I have to admitt that both actors,(Mackenzie and Gus), are really cute, even if my friends don't think so. You'll either hold your breath or cry throughout it. It is a story of determination, loyalty, and true heroism. Even great for teens-well, at least some!

Summary: Very suspenseful and thrilling movie to watch.
Review: I really liked this movie. I continue to watch it time after time because this is a good movie. Mackenzie Astin and Kevin Spacey are both very good actors. I have a pal, Paul, who looks EXACTLY like Mackenzie. I cannot get over the striking similarity. Wow, I never knew that you can have sort of like a "twin" somewhere out there in the world.

Summary: Iron Will
Review: I RECENTLY WATCHED 'IRON WILL' IN MY GEOGRAPHY CLASS AND I THINK ITS THE BEST MOVIE IVE SEEN IN MY LIFE. IT IS ABOUT A YOUNG MAN CALLED WILL STONEMAN AND HE IS QUITE POOR. WHEN HIS FATHER DIES WHILE OUT RIDING WITH WILL, WILL FEARS RIDING NEAR WATER. WILL ENTERS A DOGRACE AND SETS OFF EARLY EACH MORNING TO GET IN THE LEAD. THROUGH THE MOVIE WILL GETS THROUGH TOUGH OBSTICLES LIKE A MEAN MAN AND THE DEVILS SLIDE. WILL GETS FROST BITE AND PEOPLE THINK HE'S CRAZY FOR GOING ON BUT HE REALLY WANTS TO SAVE HIS MOTHERS FARM AND WILL ENDS UP WINNING WITH GREAT STRUGGLE AS HE FALLS OFF HIS SLED RIGHT BEFORE THE FINISHING LINE. THIS IS MOVIE HAS A VERY TOUCHING STORYLINE.

Summary: Boring dumb stupid
Review: I think people may be mixing this up with White Fang- I did! This movie was just idiotic. I gave it 2 stars because Spacey made it (barely) watchable. But without Spacey, it's nothing.

Summary: Enjoyable adventure film with some unusual features
Review: I was expecting this to be a run of the mill Disney adventure movie, with the hero entering a race at the beginning, you know he's going to win, right? wrong. This is much harder than the typical family films we associate with Disney, without losing the quality. Young Mackenzie Astin (son of John) gives a great performance as a seemingly naive yet brave boy who enters a dog sled race to get the £10,000 he desperately needs to go to college. Nominal star Kevin Spacey wisely remains in the background and lets this young lad shine through. The story has a number of unexpected twists, that interest and delight throughout the movie. Who are Will's friends? Who can he trust? Will he stop to save a man's life if it means losing the race? The cinematography is masterful, both in the close-up work and views of Minnesota countryside (doubling for Canada) The film is also refreshing because the incidental music is restrained, and even absent in some scenes. This would be enjoyed by anyone who likes a good adventure with a touch of realism.

Summary: Iron Will
Review: In the beginning of the movie I thought that the movie was going to be boring, but as the movie went on I began to like it the way he was trying to help his family out.He was determined to win the dograce for his family. He knew that if he did not he would not be able to college or provide for his family. He knew he would win or lose his dreams and his money for the farm.
So the boy sets of to start the race but all the other racers all laugh at him because he is just a boy,but one man believes in him and helps him pay the admission fee. Then the next day the race starts and the boy takes an early lead, but soon learns the badpoints of the race as the mean man had said.Iron Will keeps going up and down in the race and evenually gets real weak and makes friends with his fathers dog "Gus."
In the end Gus and Iron Will both weak struggle over the finish line and won what they had come for. They also win the respect of the other racers.I believe this is one of the best movies I have seen this year in reading class and wouldn't mind seeing it again.I thought it was a good movie becauseit showed the struggle of a boy without a father and how he fought for the money for his farm and the ability to go to college.

Summary: I am telling that this is my favorite movie of all time.
Review: In this spectacular film, Mackenzie Astin plays a young man named Will Stoneman who loses his father in a terrible accident. Now he alone must enter a 552 mile dogsled race from Winnipeg, Canada to St. Paul, Minnesota. But Will is not the only one hoping to capture the $10,000 prize. There are other men racing from places like Iceland, Norway, USA, Canada and more. On the race, Will makes an enemy out of the vicious Boar Gullerson from Sweeden. The spirit of the wild flows through Will as he races through the freezing Canadian wilderness to save his family. This movie is an amazing and heroic film that all adventure lovers should put on their list.

Summary: Iron Will
Review: Iron Will is an excellent movie for people who want to know about dog racing. It is a movie full of action, adventure, heart break, and determination. Iwould recomend this movie to anyone who likes good movies. And there's not too much violence, so small children can watch.

The movie is about a boy who loves to sled with his dogs. The tragic part is that his father dies. His family can't afford to keep the farm, so he goes to sled in a race in Canada. He is sponsered by a reporter who uses Will to sell more papers. There was a sledder who cheated by letting his lead dog attack Guss, Will's lead dog. And if that wasn't enough, the cheater's sponser bribed Will to quit. But he wouldn't give up, the dogs would only go if they heard just one tune. If I told anymore, I would give away the ending!
