Summary: Strong to digest and leaves an aftertaste
Review: It is thought provoking none the less. What does it takes for a man to eat one of his one? In this movie you will get the answer. Director Antonia Bird has made a fine piece of movie here with the help of stars Guy Pearce and Robert Carlyle and the music compositions by Michael Nyman and Damon Albarn which is one of the best soundtracks I've ever heared. Ted Griffin has made a good script which keeps you on the edge of your seat all the way to the finish. On the DVD you can listen to Bird, Albarn, Carlyle, Griffin and co-star Jeffrey Jones as they comment on the picture they have made. They should be proud 'cause this is nothing that will just go away. Many people will not like it, they will hate everything with it, saying that the acting was poor and the music was stupid and louse. But all of this increase the disturbid side of the film making it one of the more succesfull movies in recent years. It could be just another horrorpicture but it is also something else and that makes it so different to what we are used to. I never did like cannibal movies (I found them too gruesome and disgusting) so this is something else for me. I know that it didn't go so well in the cinemas (here in Sweden it only lasted a month) but it is worth a little more then that 'cause it isn't that bad. One of the best movies this year. Really good DVD edition with three audio commentary tracks.

Review: I saw this film last night at the cinema, and I could heartily recommend it to anyone. It's an odd mix of thriller, horror and comedy, and it basically just rocks. The characters are all very interesting, and the script awesome.

Summary: This movie is loads of fun.
Review: This is one of those cult movies that you just have to see. I caught it in the theaters (what was it, only there for 3 days?). I was treated to an empty theater, just myself and 2 friends. This movie rocks. If you like the Deadlands roleplaying game, Evil Dead (Any of them), or cannibal movies in general, check this one out. The acting was suprisingly good. The soundtrack was pure genius, it completely made the movie.

Review: this movie deals with a young man who is sent to a fort in the mountains. This fort is very far off the beaten path. A man arrives with the a story of cannibals ( his fellow friends) who he killed. The men and the new arrival go off to save his friends. It is really a trap. One of the men escapes the mad man from in the mountains. He arrives and those who did not die are now cannibals. The leader of the cannibals and fort(jeffery jones) try to join them. It kinda turns into a dark comedy/drama from here.I will not give the ending but this movie is not for those faint of heart . It is still and very enjoyable and enteraining movie!!!

Review: Brilliant. I thought that the plot was well thought out...even a little poetic in some scenes. I found it quite amusing that cannibalism was compared to communion. It was intense and made even moreso with the wonderful soundtrack. The acting was supurbe. By far the best film I've seen in a very long time.

Review: When I saw the preview for it, I thought it was gonna be all right. Then my friend asked me if I wanted to see it, and I said all right. During the movie I thought, What was I thinking, Why did I think this movie was gonna be all right? This movie definitely deserves 5 stars.

Review: This was probabley one of the best movie's i've seen in a long time. the plot was great it wasn't your typical evry day sit at home movie it really kept me on my toes and the ending was superb. A movie like this really shows you what hollywood can do when they want to show their darker side.. The story was about a man who won a battle by being a coward and was sent to a smaller army base where he was chased by canibals and i'm not saying any more you gotta watch it.
