Summary: Stop bashing this film!
Review: I think a lot of people were disappointed with "Pearl Harbor" because they were expecting it to be just the attack and lots of gore and fighting--more like a documentary instead of an actual Hollywood blockbuster. But it's a MOVIE--not a DOCUMENTARY, so it doesn't have to be 100% accurate! Okay? So get over it and just enjoy "Pearl Harbor"! Like "Titanic"--people were mad because the film was based around Jack and Rose's love affair rather than the actual sinking of the ship. Well, duh...what do you expect from Hollywood?!

"Pearl Harbor" was a beautiful film. The filmmaking was excellent, some of the best cinematography I've seen since "Titanic". The battle sequences were awesome and superb. The acting by the entire cast--esepcially Ben Affleck, Josh Hartnett, Kate Beckinsale, and Cuba Gooding Jr., was truly great. The DVD for "Pearl Harbor" includes some awesome special bonus features, even the Faith Hill music video, "There You'll Be". I think "Pearl Harbor" was a very underrated film. Michael Bay did a great job with the directing. I was quite pleased with the way the film turned out, and it's a nice tribute to the attack on Pearl Harbor. Reminds us of 9/11/01. The ending is sad, and if you love war epic films, then "Pearl Harbor" is a must! Who knows--ten or twenty years from now, somebody could make a film about the attacks on 9/11/01!

Summary: An Underrated Achievement in War films.
Review: When i first saw this movie in Theaters, i didn't know what to expect then after this one, i instantly loved it. It's the story of two childhood friends ( Ben Affelick and Josh Harnett) who join in the Military and both fall in love with a gorgeous Nurse
while World War II is at hand. It's an Entertaining and underappreciated movie that the Critics were wrong to pan cause this movie has it all: Laughs, Tears, romance and action. It's not suppose to be a Documentry, it's a Historical fiction movie just like " Braveheart" or " Titanic". The Director's Cut should look better, afterall i am a sucker for Jerry Bruckheimer's films.
