Review: Its impossible to review this flick. Its possibly the best movie ever made. Period. It will tear you apart and leave you totally dazed. It'll redefine you in a very fundamental way. Watching this flick was probably the greatest life-changing experience I ever had. Brad Pitt was transformed overnite from a star to a greater-than-life persona when he chose to don Tristan's mantle. I don't think anybody else can do honor to that role. Fits him like a glove. One of the most original epics Hollywood has ever come up with. Edward Zwick, you are GOD.

Review: I really enjoyed the first half of the movie but mid way through it started dragging.Although Tristan is the leading character i don't get what makes him a legend,the fact that he abondoned his girlfriend and later dumped her and on his return expected her to be waiting for him or the fact that he never bothered to inform his family about his whereabouts. My fav character in this movie is Alfred.I mean i seriously felt sorry for the poor guy.As he says so himself ,in the movie,he followed all rules made by God and man but was still on the losing side-nobody really loved him

Summary: Undeniably one of the best!
Review: what is there to say, this film was made when everything brad pitt touched turned to gold and this project was no different! the different love affairs that Julia Ormond's character had with the three brothers was wonderfully related. you were able to feel the heartbreak of losing your first love, not having the love of your true love returned and settling for the love of a man you don't truly love. Tristan and Alfred were torn apart due to the love of the same woman, then brought back together through the loss of the women they both loved! this is truly a story of family coming together in times of need! for anyone who wants two hours of pure enjoyment, i totally recommend this movie!

Summary: Surpising Entertainment
Review: I'm not a big fan of lengthy period films, but Legends scores big with me here. The story is truly engrossing. You will WANT to see what happens to Tristan and his brothers. Performances are strong by Pitt, Quinn, Hopkins and Ormand. Aside from superb acting, this film is beautiful to watch with breathtaking cinematography. The musical score is appropriately "sweeping" yet not overbearing. At slightly over 3 hours, it's best to watch this one in just one sitting since you'll follow the characters more smoothly this way. I found myself almost not wanting their stories to end!

Review: The movie was good, let's face it Anthony Hopkins don't do bad movies and I think Brad Pitt is gorgous but Pitt's character (Tristan) was a bit too consistent. Come on, everyone on earth is a contradiction of who the are and Tristan should have been as well. But that's what make it a Hollywood movie. Anyway the movie was worthy seeing, go see it.

Summary: Great---but too violent for my tastes.
Review: Whoaa! This epic film, both in the sense of its power and in the sense that it IS an epic tale, well, just blew me away. The violence-well, I prefer a little less, but that has to be my only problem wl me. Brad Pitt-well, I never was too beg a fan of him, but, hey, he was totally studly in this one---especially w/o most of his clothes on, as you may know. With a body like that he shouldn't EVER be required to wear ANYTHING...even in the middle of town wl everyone and their sibling there! ok, ok. Enough...Julia Ormond gave one of her best peformances ever, and as for Aidan Quinn, he was very believable---to the point that by the time my friend & I finished this we both wanted him dead. Truly. Not to mention that if a miracle had suddenly replaced us under Brad instead of that horse...;> Good movie. Only foul language comes about in a VERY funny way...you'll see! Enjoy...

Review: Just amazes me how people can see the same movie and have totally opposite opinions. I thought this was a typical Hollywood manipulative melodrama with stilted acting and a plot that made me laugh several times from its absurdity. Brad Pitt reminded me of those "good looking" dudes in high school who got the babes but now they're pumping gas. If you thought this movie was great, more power to you but it's sad to think that this movie is at the pinnicle for a lot of people. That means you're missing some great movies and books out there... COuldn't pan this movie enough. One star is too many!
