Summary: Hilarious!
Review: I am usually not interested in the low comedies (farces, parodies, slapstick, etc.) and rather I enjoy witty satirical humor much more. However, this movie was an exception--this is Val Kilmer at his best, and had me laughing the rest of the night.

Summary: Airplane!'s Equal
Review: Along with Airplane! I consider this to be the best work of the Zucker/Abrahams/Zucker team. The jokes don't always work as well as those in Airplane! (although they are just as good as any in the Naked Gun movies) and are a little less relentless in their pacing, but the plot actually plays an important role in this film, moreso than any other ZAZ film, so these minor deficits are balanced out by the overall structure of the film. While the plot in airplane clearly took a back seat to the skits, Top Secret acts better as a satire of a particular genre (the spy film) than either Naked Gun or Airplane. It is also interesting seeing a ZAZ film without Leslie Neilson (Hot Shots, though good, doesn't count).

Summary: the funniest movie ever made!
Review: Nothing to say... This is the cult of funny films... The "dump" funny movie producers should see that before making another "dump" movie!

Summary: Funny Then - Funny Now
Review: The ZAZ team (Zucker/Abrahams/Zucker) doesn't disappoint in the laugh department with this movie. This is mainly slapstick and visual gags, but it's the best of them. If you want some stupid, no-brain, sexual innuendo, parody comedy then this is the greatest!

This movie made me laugh like no other movie has. Val Kilmer has a wonderful performance as a rock-star and foreign dignitary. The parodies of popular Beach Boys and Elvis songs are hilarious. The best scene and most creative I thought would have to be in the bookstore. You HAVE to see it to believe it. It made me laugh incredibly hard. You may have to pause the movie every once in a while so you can breathe. Although that may be exaggerating a bit it isn't far off.

This movie is well worth the money you pay for it. The laughs it delivers are tremendous and timeless. Have fun and don't laugh too hard!

Summary: I literally fell out of my seat laughing!
Review: In the movie theater...on the sticky floor...in the fetal position. It was the ballet scene that did it to me. It just kept getting funnier and funnier and I lost it. No movie has ever done that to me before or since. I never laughed so hard in my life.

When is this coming out on DVD? I've worn out my VHS copy.

Summary: Movie? What Movie?
Review: Oh My God! The first time I saw this movie was at about 2.30 in the morning, and it takes a lot to make you laugh at 2.30 am, but this did the trick. It is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen, and I can't go a week without watching it. Funny, Excellent, and brilliant, even for the fiftieth time. Top 5 funny movies, definitely.

Summary: Hilarious
Review: "Top Secret!" is a hilarious spoof of the WWII adventure movies, except that it takes place in the 80s. It takes a few viewings just to catch every sight gag. WARNING: Do not eat or drink anything while watching this movie. You will either choke on it or spit it out on the floor or TV. This movie is that funny.

The Zucker/Abrahams/Zucker trio had yet another hilarious film under their belts with "Top Secret!" Where else can you see Omar Sharif get sprayed with ink from a gag flower, charred with an exploding cigar, and get splattered with whipped cream?

Summary: An amazing movie...
Review: I saw this movie when I was in the 4th grade and it is still my all time favorite. Val Kilmer is excellent and the jokes are non-stop. If you have seen all of the Airplanes, Naked Guns and Hot Shots, you still need to see this movie. It is quite similar and yet very unique.
