Rating: Summary: Not a good movie for me Review: Everybody thinks that this is their favorite movie. But not for me. Scarlett is a little rascal and Rhett also. They are both alcoholic. Why need to waste 4 hours watching this trash film. What's more this movie is easy to get used to it like about 5 times you watched it. This movie maybe for you, but not for me.
Rating: Summary: TRUELY ONE OF THE ALL-TIME BEST MOVIES. Review: Very vivid picture and great sound merely add to this excellent movie
Rating: Summary: A movie classic that will last another 60 years Review: I first saw this movie when it came out in the theatres last summer, and I was blown away. I was expecing a corny, overlong, stupid WW2 movie, but depspite it being nearly four hours long, it's never boring. That's one of "Titanic"s problems. It's a shorter movie, yet there are so many boring scenes, it's pathetic! I find it sad that people call "Titanic", "the epic movie of a lifetime". They obviously have never seen this movie. Even though I'm only 14, I still think this is the greatest American movie of all time!
Rating: Summary: I found this movie powerful yet dramatic! Review: This movie is the best movie I have ever seen(and believe me I've seen a lot of movies)! It was a romantic, compasionate movie about a women searching for a love she herself can't understand! I could see her (Vivien Leigh) on stage today being that same captivated scared little girl she seemed to be in the movie.
Rating: Summary: Great Soap Opera Review: This is perhaps the greatest soap opera ever filmed. BUT it is basically soap opera and full of 30's sensibilities. I find myself at least partly agreeing with the Norwegian reviewer and baffled at the anger those comments arose in the Lubbock Texas reviewer.
Rating: Summary: Movie Review or Politics? Review: GWTW is the height of old Hollywood at its best. It's still top-notch in every way. How odd that someone (the forgettable guy from forgettable Norway) would write a "review" that uses this forum to take shots at Americans! What a silly stunt. I'm surprised he didn't try to lecture us on the "greatness of Norway," which gives him little to write about. Let's stick to movie talk here.
Rating: Summary: Excellent, compelling The screen is on fire with .... Review: Excellent, compelling, The screen was on fire with Scarlet and Rhetts love for each other. For a teenage girl the civil war comes to life through Scarlets life the war is more of a backdrop.
Rating: Summary: Is it possible to give this movie a million stars??? Review: Gone With The Wind is, in my humble opinion, the most dramatic and beatiful movie ever. In terms of unrequited love, who can forget Clark Gable's memorable "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn."? You may want to buy Titanic, but believe me, Gone With The Wind has a certain nostalgia to it-perhaps it is its wonderful plot. Or maybe Scarlett's strong character and Rhett's indulgence. Either way, this is one movie you won't regret buying.
Rating: Summary: Exellent!!!!! Review: This movie is the BEST!! Prissy is so cool! The costumes are beautiful. If you have not seen this movie, well, you're missing something great!
Rating: Summary: Sad Review: It was a very sad movie where at the end you are crying to death....but the story line was absolutely awesome.
