Summary: Gone with the Wind - DVD
Review: A true classic. My only complaint is having to flip over the dvd halfway through. Something is to be said for single sided double layer dvds. Unfortunately this one is not one. Had I known I wouldn't have gotten it.

Summary: Probably one of the worst films ever made!
Review: Gone with the Wind has to be one of the worst if not the worst films in American history! it was a horrible, boring, ludicrous attempt to copy another movie. i think i liked this movie the first time I saw it when it was called "My Giant". if you agree with me email me at burtoncurry14@hotmail.com

Summary: Just please watch this movie!
Review: I finished watching Gone With the Wind moments ago. This was after I finished watching it 4 hours ago. I may put it in again. If you ever wanted to know anything about greatness, please, sit down in a quiet room with no disruptions and enjoy a great movie. I must go...the tape has finally rewound! See you in four more glorious hours.

Summary: Great Soap
Review: This is certainly one of the greatest American soap operas ever made. Vivien Leigh is perfectly cast as the selfish, bitchy vixen Scarlett O'Hara. It's morals are a little bit screwy (The chivalrous gentlemen "Slave Drivers" of the South, and the EVIL Yankees? ) but it is great entertainment nonetheless. It's just too bad it has almost nothing to say about one of the bloodiest wars ever but, on the other hand, neither did the book. A must see epic.

Summary: How could you not love this movie??!!
Review: I thought this would be kind of boring because it was about history and romance which I'm not really in to, but it was so breathtakingly brilliant. If it wasn't historically correct, who cares? It was a great movie just to watch. Great acting and lots of tears.

Summary: A Timeless Classic
Review: I saw Gone With The Wind twice when it was re-released in the summer of 1998. Although fifty-nine years have passed, the movie is still being enjoyed by the old and young alike. I enjoyed every minute of the movie and there are so many scenes that will touch your heart. The cast was well chosen and every accolade bestowed on this movie proves that Gone With The Wind is indeed an outstanding picture.

Summary: Max Steiner's music unforgettable
Review: While much is written about the acting and cinematography of this great film, it is Max Steiner's music that stays with you after nearly four hours of viewing.

Summary: one of the greatest films ever
Review: It isn't as good as Citizen Kane,Apocalypse Now,and some other great films.......BUT,it comes pretty damn close.

Summary: greatest movie i have ever seen
Review: It is hard to believe this movie is 60 years old!The movies of today can not hold a candle to this one. Nor can any of todays actors.Scarlett makes you want to shake her at times, but by the end you love her.And Rhett! You just have to love him all thru the whole movie. In fact everyone in it.

Summary: This is the greatest movie of the century....
Review: This movie is an epic....and while, true, it does not meticulously keep with the novel, it is still the greatest love story of the cinematic "Hollywood glory days". Vivien Leigh is "Scarlett O'Hara", not only does she fit the description, she just becomes the character heart and soul. And there could absoulutely be no one else who could be Rhett but Clark Gable. The casting is perfect, the sets are so realistic, and the story moves along; even though it is four hours long, the movie just flies by. It is a classic, and should be seen by everyone who loves movies. This is the way movies were meant to be.
