Summary: Cannot be beat for the price!
Review: Actually, I think these spakers outperform some I have heard that cost more. Buy them. You won't be sorry. I have enjoyed the addition of the KLH ten inch powered sub. For home theater this is a super set up for around 200 bucks. The tone is very sweet and warm and they do a great job with realistic vocal presentation on the center channel. I think that anybody with basic to midrange needs will be very pleased with these. I would rate them a best buy. Price to quality, they can't be beat. I was skeptical at first, but not anymore.

Summary: Great Speakers, Great Price!
Review: I bought these speakers a few months ago. They are smaller then my old ones, and are of better quality. They will also compliment any decor, are easy to hang, And come with the wire, and mounting hardware. The only thing they are missing is a subwoofer. But at this price you can always get one later. These are a must for quality sound on a budget.

Review: i got this speaker package about 2 weeks ago and i think its great i knew that the klh name may not seem good to some people but thats just because they never had any. I have 2 klh fronts model# 4231 floor standings. and a klh asw 10-120 suband all work well so i got this for my surround sound. it works well for movies and video games but i would not recommend them for music. But if youve never had anything but a little boombox i guess they would be good. Also the speaker wire is @#$! its about 24 gauge. But other than that these speakers shine.they are solidly built and well worth the money. and can handle power i have a 110 watt per chanell (110 divided by 2 for rear)reciever and they dont even flinch. BUY THIS PRODUCT i would also recomend a sub for this and the asw 10-120 is great. klh is a brand i would recomend most speakers to anybody and they can stand with some of the greats.

My system: Teac-agv-8525 reciever Teac-pd-d2750 cd changer klh # 4231 fronts klh asw 10-120 sub klh #9005 suround system

Summary: damn good sound damn cheap price
Review: i just brought KLH HTA-9005 speakers about a week ago and they are great! with the subwoffer i have (not a klh) it had plenty of bass on the lows and clean highs! i do agree with the assment on the wire. so thin i wouln't use it as kite string. my old front speakers were klipsch at over two hundred just for them and another eighty for the center and rear. the klh speakers blew them apart! I listen to a lot of dts and dvd audio and what a sound! and this is in a small room. i have found that most home theater amps can make regular stereo sound thin. also room size and accoustics count big time in how any speaker will sound.for my room size and money this is a best buy of all time

Summary: An excellent value!
Review: I selected these speakers based on the feedback on the Amazon reviews. They, along with the KLH 10-120 sub I bought locally, are the first KLH speakers I've ever purchased. My goal was to get a temporary surround sound speaker set for around $... (I spent $... with tax/shipping).
I received these about a month ago and they sound excellent in my home theater setup. I liked these because of the pressed wood enclosure... better than plastic, IMHO. The price can't be beat either.
Make sure you combine this set with a subwoofer for a full range of sound as these don't produce the low bass you might be accustomed to.
For their price-range, a must-buy.

Summary: Good Sound, Good Price
Review: I think that for the price, this is a very functional system. Not much bass in the surround mode, but with the surround off the bass is booming from the center and two front speakers. There was plenty of speaker wire included for me to space the speakers out the proper distance. A definate winner for the price.

Summary: Good Speakers For The Price.
Review: I won't over hype these speakers as the greatest, but for what I paid for them they handle what I need. First lets talk about what is good. The price of this set will get any home theater going under 80 dollars, which is almost amazing. The sound is modestly good. The bad on the other hand can be over looked because of the price. The wire that does come with the speakers is so thin I wouldn't trust it as a pro for buying the speakers. These speakers offer virtually no bass response. I wouldn't recommend using them without a powered sub. When compared to higher priced speakers using the same equipment these speakers show there limitaions. The sound is almost harsh when compared to more expensive set of speakers. But you will probably only notice it if you hook up another set of speakers. For anyone who is building a home theater and it looking for a cheap way to get off the ground I can't imagine a better set of speakers for the price.

Summary: Good Value for the money
Review: I'm currently putting together a very expensive home theater system and I was looking for a temporary fix. Based on what I read I couldn't go wrong with the price. The system lacks mid bass and can be a bit on the tinney sounding side, but for home theater it is adequate. You'll notice a bigger weakness listening to music on these speakers. If you can pair an additional set of bigger speakers and a sub with these speakers I think most people will be impressed. Dislike the spring clip connectors, but again they were very inexpensive.

Summary: Most Bang For The Buck
Review: I'm finally getting into the Home Theater experience and I can tell you these speakers can handle the output from my Sony STRDE 945 receiver with no problem. I don't know how load you like to play your sound tracks but I can tell you my dogs were freak out enough to leave the living room. You must add the KLH 100 watts 8 ½" subwoofer to complete the setup. It can be had for under ($) if you shop around. One setback is the sound reproduced when using 2-channel stereo. It's a little on the thin side. They are identical in design, which is important in home theater sound, and you can't beat the great price. KLH doesn't spend a lot on advertising so don't think these are cheap junk. They come with plenty of cheap (22 gauge) speaker wire though. Amazon sells the Acoustic Research HT604 Home Theater Hookup for ($), which I bought and can recommend.
