Review: We've been a Klipsch customer since its 1st generation debut: Klipsch ProMedia THX 5.1. Those have been long discontinued and we have upgraded to the ProMedia Ultra 5.1 under warranty. BIG BIG difference in the subwoofer! Better looking too IMHO. Not your "2 Buck Chuck" type of multimedia speakers. Worthy ever penny! We bought these for our PC but eventually migrated them to become our small humble home theater. These gave a good run with friends whom spent $1000s more on there Home Theater system! They have been paired with the long discontinued ProMedia DD-5.1 Digital Decoder [DTS & Dolby Digital]. Our DTS Test DVD from the CES show passed with flying colors! This 5.1 Ultra system is what started our now Home Theater craze big time!!! Even for uber retentive people like us :-) We have recently paired this to our newly purchased DLP projector. WOW! Sounds better then most local theaters around here in San Francisco!!! This system became our primary system of choice to listen to music and especially watching VHS or DVD movies. Klipsch customer service is A+ top notch when problems arise. We are currently on our 2nd set of Ultras due to an amp problem BUT they will take care of you worry free as long you buy from an authorized Klipsch dealer. We've been so happy with the level of customer service we are already planning a HUGE purchase into the hi-end line of Klipsch speakers : Klipsch THX Ultra2 system. About $1200 each speaker. It'll be about $10,000 to $12,000 just in speakers alone! CRAZY NOT! To us Klipsch products made our day esp. The Customer Service is key. Caveat Emptor.
