Summary: Good Motivation
Review: I first got hooked on these motivational DVDS when a friend, Kazim Casu, loaned me another one made by the same outfit, and it was done by the same director, Greg Gerlovin. This was about saying and stammering the same words over and over again, "Uh" and "Er" and "You Know" among them. Don't you hate it when you forced to listen to a speech in which the speaker, out of nerves perhaps or maybe just lazy-mouthed, interrupts himself every other word to add the annoying catchphrase, "You Know," when in truth you don't know and you have no wish to know! This DVD helped me rid those words from my vocabulary. RISE ABOVE THE CROWD isn't as revolutionary but it does feature some of Gerlovin's patented good advice for making a good impression not only on colleagues but on audiences of complete strangers. When you're on a panel, you're in a difficult spot. You don't want to come off like you're sitting among family members, and yet on the other hand you don't want to come off like you're beingstiff or unfriendly with your fellow panelists--or even worse, intimidated by their superior knowledge. Only you and your mirror have to know the truth! View this DVD when you want a refresher course in balls.
