Summary: Great Gift from my daughter
Review: My daughter wanted to brush up on her massage therapy and bought this as a valentines gift and what a wonderful thoughtful gift it was. She got the package on VHS and DVD so we'd each have a copy. It helped with her basic skills and then she got the other tape "Massage Therapy For Professionals" which helped her with the next level. Being elderly, I have arthritis which is painful and her massaging me is helping me greatly. She's been out of the business for some time so your tapes are helping both her and me. Thank you for doing such a wonderful job!

Summary: My mom loves her massages!
Review: My mom has rhumatoid arthritis and she's in pain most of the time. I hate to see her suffer so I bought this DVD and I give her the gift of love. I give her soft, gentle, loving massages. I love my mom. She's done so much for me and this is just something I can do for her to make her feel better. Sometimes, I just massage her hands, sometimes just her feet or shoulders. It isn't always an all over massage, but the few minutes I can give her and slip in a mini massage here and there is worth it. She knows I care! This DVD showed me how to do it. It's great. Thanks for doing it in laymans language. It was well worth the money and I appreciate your prompt delivery.

Summary: Two are better than one!
Review: The Basic DVD is one everyone should have as a part of their library whether their just begininning or an experienced professional. I use it as a refresher course from time to time, but I have clients that want to give their significant other a nice treat for their birthday or just a nice gift from time to time at home and are a little shy about getting started. I loan them this DVD and they feel that I'm giving them a wonderful gift. So I have a couple of these on hand. This simple gift of lending brings my clients back to me time and time again. Thank you for this DVD. It's great!

Summary: Poor Production. Don't waste your money
Review: The DVD was a complete disappointment and a waste of money. It looks like it was produced with a home video camcorder with someone getting a massage. Very limited naration. While watching the DVD, I kept thinking, "What a scam."

Summary: Relaxation at it's best!...
Review: This Basic massage Therapy video is one of the best massage videos I have ever seen. It is extremely detailed and informative. I actually used some of the techniques that I learned from watching this video to give massages to my family and friends. They said it felt as if they had been to see a professional massage therapist!... I would definitely recommend this video for anyone wanting to learn about massage.

Review: this is a great video for BEGINNERS ONLY. it is shot slowly, with enough light, at the right angles, and repeats both right and left sides for an "almost" total body massage. unfortunately, the video does not address the upper-frontal torso nor posterior regions of the body which contain important pressure points and stress areas. it also lacks the normal function of a true dvd, and is more of a vcd or vhs tape. so you essentially have to fast-forward to the point you want to work-on. no nudity and basic. surely NOT INTERMEDIATE or ADVANCED.

Review: This is an awesome package. I'm very happy with it. I got both the Basic DVD and the the Professional Massage Therapy DVD for a great price. I'm glad I got both. Getting back into the business after being out for awhile made me a little apprehensive and this gave me the confidence to go for it. I've been having minor seisures personally and having a 9-5 job isn't something I can do. Giving a relaxing massage to someone else helps me earn an income, makes me relax and gives great benefits to my clients. They appreciate the extra effort I put into my massages. All I needed was the confidence and your DVD's did it! Thank you so very very very much!

Summary: This is just what I needed
Review: This is the best instructional video I've seen. I put this on my wish list and then one of my family members bought it for me. I wanted to learn about massage but just didn't have the time to take a class. I've always thought about pursing this as a career but just didnt know how to get started. This video was just what I needed. The video starts off with the massage therapist preparing a client for a full body massage. She shows you how to do everything for a massage from the beginning to end. The massage therapist doesn't talk during the massage but it looks like she went back in and recorded instruction while the video shows her performing the massage. The massage therapist works one side of the client's body and then the other while explaining in detail how to do it. She takes about an hour and a half to perform and explain the full massage. She talks you through each part of the massage of each part of the body going into how to massage that specific body part with what to do and what to avoid. I had no idea that there was so much more to it than just a back rub. While it's not difficult to follow along, it would be difficult with the video. The overall production quality is very good. I was very impressed with the quality and production aspects of this video. While this is a DVD, it's not wide-screen. I almost think it's better since it fills the full screen and shows a closer view of the massage. The soundtrack is great. There's good music at the front and end. Throughout most of the video there's a nice background sound of a quite waterfall. The massage therapist explained that white noise generators or waterfalls should be used to aid in the relaxation process. It sure works in this video. The only thing I wish is that they had an intermediate or advanced massage video I could get next. So, the bottom line is that I got the chance to learn about massage at my own pace i the comfort of my own home. Now that I learned about basic massage, I think that I will take some massage classes and see if I'd like to do this as a career. Thanks!
