Summary: Good stuff.
Review: I absolutely love Renzo Gracie's book Mastering Jujitsu, with co-author John Danaher, so I thought I'd feel equally enthuisastic about these DVDs. The tecniques are solid and I most certainly appreciate the level of depth taken but for some reason I find these DVDs a little hard to watch.
I guess I could go into detail but it's probably unnecessary since this is a good product and delivers where it should. While this should be on the shelf of any serious grappler, if forced to make a choice I would most certainly go with Cesar Gracie's DVD set.

Review: I completely disagree with the idea that the instruction on these DVDs is poor. The illustration and detail of technique is fine. Not high quality production, but you can learn the techniques just fine. For the price, and what you get, I would say this is an under-rated bargain. $60 for 11 tapes (put on DVD). Granted there is nothing overly complicated here. This set gives you a good over-view of the Gracie/BJJ system. This is the best bargain I've seen on BJJ instructional tapes/DVDs. A must have.
The NHB fights from Brazil are an added bonus. If you pass this deal up, you are a sucker, you won't find this level of instruction for this price anywhere.

Review: Some people can fight and some people can instruct and some people can do both. This is not a good instruction tool.

Review: This is great deal! I purchased this set years ago for much more money. To have it on DVD is a nice touch because you can jump to any technique you want. Renzo Gracie is great. For the money, this is the best deal on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructional videos you will ever find.
