Summary: Close to perfection
Review: John Lasseter's "Toy Story 2" is one of the best animated films of the decade. It's even funnier and wittier than its already outstanding predecessor. Unfortunately, the film wasn't nominated for an Academy Award for best Picture of the year. It undoubtedly deserved one.In contrast to many of today's blockbusters, "Toy Story 2" has sharply written characters that are provided with motivations for their actions. It even manages to be very dramatic at times. Despite all that, the pace is furious and the action scenes are always breathtaking. The brillaint opening sequence alone is worth the rent. For many cinemaniacs, "The Godfather 2" and "The Empire Strikes Back" are the only sequels that are even better than the original (Actually the inclusion of "Empire" is invalid since "Star Wars I-VI" is only one movie). With "Toy Story 2", another title can be added to this very short list.

Summary: Young or Old, Male or Female-Toy Story 2 is perfect for you
Review: Toy Story 2 is a movie for children. And adults, and everyone else in between. Firstly, it is visually striking, beautifully and artfully made. but more importantly, it is well written, well acted, and well directed. The movie has so many things working for it - its funny, fast moving, surprising. I'm 19, and I roared from laughter many times. The characters are simpathetic, the situations comic, the adventure never ending. It really has enough in jokes and witticism to appeal to an adult, eventhough its a children's movie. You don't have to go see it with a child - its a much better cinematic evening then most movies, for adults or for kids. Don't miss the ending: when the credits role down, the fun is still continuing, in what is argueably the best part of the movie

Review: Great movie! When Woody tries to save another toy in a yard sale, he gets taken away himself. Buzz, Rex, Mr.Potato Head, and Slinky set out to save him. The excitment never stops! I highly reccomend it!

Summary: Toy Story 2
Review: Toy Story 2 The even more hugely successful sequal to the the hugely successful original, this is the most hilarious film I have seen for years. Its cutting edge graphics are considerably better even than in the last film, with the human looking much better, if still not perfect. However the real treats are in the story. The characters are brilliantly funny, and the storyline is exciting and avoids the cutesiness that could have marred the film. Complete with it's constant film allusions and witty reinterpretations of life from a toy's view, this movie is an absolute gem. Look out for the 'outtakes' during the credits as they are perhaps even more funny than the film itself! 9 out of 10.

Review: Toy Story 2 is the best, better than toy story 1. My sons and myself loved the movie so much we saw it 3 times. It's a good funny movie to take your kids to see and to own a copy for your Family and friends. I would like to end by saing that if you have not yet seen the movie to do so you'll love it too.

Summary: Disney and Pixar prove their still at it!
Review: I saw ToyStory 2 just two days ago. I went with two mates who had seen it before and my expctations were really high because I loved the first one and I've heard this one surpassed it's predecessor in every way. And I have to say, It does. This movie is absolutely brilliant! I hadn't laughed so hard since the first time I discovered Jim Carrey in his brilliant debut-film Ace Venture (you like this guy or not, there's simply nothin' inbetween). The tributes to historical moviedefining moments like the T-Rex chase from JP and Darth telling Luke the horrible truth. Hillarious. The animation and detail is jawdropping, the jokes are, as said hillarious and the characters are all, even the new ones (Weezy is brilliant), worked out and defined with great love and knowledge by the people who created this masterpiece. Voice talents are chosen with huge care: Allen and Hanks heve rarely been better and newcomers as JP's Dennis Nedry, who does the voice of Bad Toynapper Al, prove they got what it takes to do a Disney! But then the piece the resistance, the script that, let's face it was hard to improve the original's because of it's well, eh, originality, works in every way: It's witty, it's clever and it's hard to see through emediately. The opening and Finale of this movie are spectacular. It's Funny, touching and an absolutely, possitively prove that Disney and Pixar are still at the top of the craftmanship that it takes to make instant classics like this one. And there are no Antz or princes of Egypt that can do a thing about it! Sorry David, Steven and Jeffrey. The masters are back. Totally brilliant!

Summary: Great Movie!
Review: I just wanted to say what a great movie this was! Let me preview by saying I am a 20 year old college student, so I think I can safely say this movie is for everyone!
I am not much for cartoons or animations (i wasnt much into the first Toy Story or A Bugs Life), but this movie was incredibly funny. It is very "punny" and was well worth the $5.50 to go see it! Some of the implied meanings (a few scenes poke fun at Jurrasic Park, etc.) were an interesting twist to see in a G movie. I plan to make it the next purchase of my DVD collection.
Let me finish by saying if you havent seen the movies because its a "kids movie", you are really missing out. Give it a try and you will see what I mean.
