Summary: Fun Toy Box!
Review: Both the Toy Story movies are truly hilarious, enjoyable, and so much fun. This DVD 3-disc set is the way to go. I loved both of the movies so much, that I really enjoyed watching the supplemental material on the 3rd disc. Some of the segments are a bit short, so you have to keep the remote nearby. However, this is a wonderful set to have - especially if you are a fan of the "Toy Story" films!

Summary: incredible
Review: This is CGI at its best! I love both Toy Story movies, theyre great for people of any age. The voices and humor of Tom Hanks and Tim Allen are a perfect touch to this animation breakthrough. Im pleased with this DVD, especially because mine has french and spanish dubbing. The storyline is brilliant, and it makes a great gift for anyone in the family.

Summary: Amazing
Review: Most of the time I personally find that sequels never live up to the originals but this is an exception. Toy Story 2 was as good or maybe even better than the original.

The graphics and sound are exceptional. You almost forget that you are watching animation after a few minutes.

This is a movie that the entire family can enjoy together. I would highly recommend this movie.

Summary: Forget the 3 disc version
Review: I loved both movies but was disappointed with the supplemental disc. Every 10 seconds I have to use the remote to make another selection. Maybe the material views well on a PC, but it definatley is not worth the effort on the TV. Stick with the 2 disc, movies-only version.

Summary: Much better than Toy Story 1
Review: This sequence is much better than Toy Story 1. In Toy story 1, only two protagonists (Buzz light year and Hooper) had clear personality, while here in this sequence almost every character has his own sound. I love the dinosaur and the tourist guide Babie in the toy shop as well as the Mr. And Mrs. Potato. The neat idea of some classic scenes related to other hot movies (Jurassic park and Star wars) make me laughter to tears. And the storyline is much mature than the previous one. And the music is excellent, the song sung by the female cowboy is very moving. It seems that Toy story can develop into infinite series... Maybe next year in Toy story 3 Andy's little sister buys the tour-guide Babie or something...

Summary: Joe
Review: This is a nice package but there is something you should know about disc two. If you plan on watching disc two on a computer forget it. Disc one plays fine but disc two will only play previews of upcoming movies and it will lock up a computer.Other than that both movies are good but I prefer the original Toy Stroy over 2. There is an animated short at the beginning of the first video that is quite funny. Overall beside the computer glitch it plays fine on tv but dont expect big things on computer.

Summary: Toy Story 2: The sequel outdoes the original.
Review: When Woody is "kidnapped" from a garage sale, Buzz Lightyear and crew embark on an amazing adventure to rescue him from the conniving hands of an immoral toy dealer who has sold him to a Japanese toy museum.

John Lasseter and Pixar have created another computer-generated gift to the world. While the original Toy Story will always be the landmark trend-setter that started it all, the harbinger that announced the coming of a new type of film, this glorious sequel surpasses the original in nearly every way. It's so packed with invention, originality and creativity that it's exhausting to try to absorb it all (this is not a complaint, but a welcome admittance that multiple viewings are absolutely required).

The enchanting theme that toys may actually have hearts and minds of their own, and experience utter heartbreak and abandonment when we humans inevitably outgrow them, resonates in the nostalgic memories of folks old enough to remember their favorite toys from when they were kids. This bittersweet nostalgia, which reaches its climax during Jessie's sorrowful song, is incredibly heartfelt. In fact, it left me wondering -- if computer-generated images (CGI) can seem so real and make us feel this way, then why not toys?

For sure, this is one of the great films of 1999.

Summary: Awesome Collection
Review: Any true fan of dvds, movies, computer animation, disney, ANYTHING should get this.

This 3 DVD set is simply stunning.

The movie was a complete digital transfer so the image is top notch. The 5.1 dolby digital soundtrack is one of the best movie soundtracks I have heard. great LFE and great use of the rear channels. To top it off the soundtracks are THX CERTIFIED!

The 2 movie discs both contain the movies and few special features (shorts, audio commentary)

The best out of the three though is the 3rd supplementary disc. This has literally hours of behind the scenes footage. Interviews, demonsrations, previews, cut scenes, extra songs, more shorts... it's all there.

You'll buy this and after watching it you'll truly be amazed at the amount of work that went into making the movies and also these discs.

Summary: A Disney Sequel Worth buying and seeing again and again!
Review: I laughed and laughed and laughed! This is one sequel I have to thank disney for making! The reviews on Television convinced me that Toy Story 2 was a waste of Time! But boy was I wrong! It surpassed the original with flying colors! All I can say is just watch it! Ignore your instincts towards sequels and watch. I sang to "Woody's Round Up" and "You Got A Friend In Me"! Trust me it is that good! This should be Disney's Final Sequel!

Summary: Forget the kids, this movie is great!
Review: First, I have small children and must see these movies at the theatre and at home (sometimes several times a day). This movie and Toy Story are not just children's movies but are well crafted and engaging in their own right. Not to beat a dead horse on the other reviews, but I would put this movie on the list of 100 best movies ever. It is that good.
